Layla's point of view:
I was packing my bag to leave. I was getting ready to leave with my two of my best friends Kayla and Katy (also roomates). They were on there way here from the store getting snacks. We agreed to take my car since it was bigger. I was still in my pj's so i threw on a white tank top and some jeans.
Layla's outfitThe girls finally got here so we all put our bags in the trunk, got some lunch and we started driving. I started driving my car with Kayla in the passenger seat and Katy in the back seat. I was going to visit some family in Colorado and they wanted to come with. We were listening and singing along to our favorite song Let me go by Loving Caliber.
(let me go go let me go go let me go)
i told you i'm not your anymore
not im not your,
so why you try to hold on to hold on
when im not there for you
wanna take the a different lane
wanna play my own game
and i dont need you here
so wont let me go
wanna take this ball and chain
that you have put on me
and throw it out the window
i think that you should let go
cause you know this is not meant to be
let go maybe i should have known
that you are not the right one for me
let go
why i should have known
i should have known
you are not right for me so let go
so let me go,so let me go
you are not right for me so let go
dont call me i dont wanna talk to you
im better off not talking to you
but why you try to hold on
to hold on,to hold on
wanna take a different lane
wanna play my own game
and i dont need you here
so wont you let me go
wanna take this ball and chain
that you have put on me
and throw it out the window
i think that you should let go
cause you know this is not meant to be
let go
maybe i should have known
that you are not the right one for me
let go
i should have known,i sould have known
you are not right for me so let go
so let me go,so let me go
you are not right for me so let go
i told you i'm not yours
so why you try to hold on
i think that you should let go
cause'you know this is not meant to be
let go
maybe i should have known
that you are not the right one for me
let go i think you should let go
cause'you know this is not meant to be
let go
maybe i should have known
that you are not the right one for me
you are not right for me so let goAfter the song ended, we stopped at a red light. "Hey when was the last time you saw your family?" Kayla said in question.
"I'm not sure, I think maybe a couple of months." I told her. When the light turned green, I pushed my foot against the gas. Though I wished I hadn't. I was moving, then a car hit us, right into the drivers door, flipping us over and over again. When it stopped, that's when everything went black.
Kayla's point of view:
"Is everyone ok?!" As I said in fear looking at my surroundings as we were upside down in the car. It seemed we were right next to a really steep ditch. I look over at Layla, who's purple hair covering her face. But I could clearly tell she wasn't ok."Katy are you ok?!"
"Yeah I'm fine, are you?" She said with fear in her voice.
"I'm ok but I'm not so sure about Layla." I barely managed to choke out those words. Then I heard sirens coming our way. Then I knew we would be ok soon. As police soon arrived, they got me and Katy out of the car first because Layla seemed to be caught on something. As they tried getting her out, the car started sliding towards the ditch a little."Stop, the car is gonna fall into the ditch!" I yelled in panic, worried that the car would fall with Layla still inside. They just kept trying to get her out, but it just kept sliding, ignoring me completely.
"I said stop!" I yelled with anger because they just ignored me and the fact the car was sliding. They almost got her out of the car, but the car was really close to the edge of the ditch. They finally got her un-stuck from where she was stuck, but the car started sliding with her still inside it. And with that, the car started rolling down the side of the ditch with her still inside.
"LAYLA!" I yelled with tears in my eyes. Then my heart started to fill with anger and fury."I told you to stop and now she's probably gone!" I yelled at the people trying to get her out of the car. People that were close by started running towards the ditch. I run to the side of the ditch with Katy right behind me. We just stand there, looking at the crushed car with tears in our eyes. The car got caught between two trees and it looked like she was crushed between the trees because the car was on its side so she was closest to the ground. Katy squeezed me into a hug as she started crying. I did the same and hugged her back, knowing we just lost our best friend.
Katy's point of view:
I just stand there in Kayla's arms, looking down at the totaled car with tears filling in my eyes even more.
The paramedics were trying there best to get down there quickly to save her, but I could tell she was already gone. They finally managed to get down there safely and get her out. When they got her out, but her hair was out of her face, and both gasped in unison. Her face was almost entirely covered in blood with a piece of a log in her chest. I could tell how bad it was seeing her white tank top now completely red, covered in blood.Third-person point of view:
The paramedics were trying to get up the ditch without letting go of the stretcher. Layla was laying there, with the whole in her chest, bleeding everywhere. They finally got her up the hill. When they were putting her in the ambulance, Kayla and Katy gasped with sadness in their eyes. They got her in the ambulance and they tried to stop the bleeding. When the bleeding finally stopped, they checked her pulse, nothing.1168 words
