Chapter 5: New life

Ira's POV
"IRA!! GET UP!! IT'S YOUR TURN TO FIGHT THE GLITTER GIRLS!!"
Me:"mmmm...Marmo...can't I just stay home for a couple more hours?"
I said, sleepily, shuffling around in my bed, trying to get more comfortable.
Marmo:"Adrien is outside on earth, he might run into you-know-who!!"
At that, I jumped out of my bed, got dressed and ran out of the hideout with a piece of toast in my mouth, I teleported to earth and continued to run,
'I can't believe that Marmo only woke me up NOW!! Adrien could get into a whole lot of trouble, what if he runs into the Glitter Force?!'
It's been three weeks since Adrien moved in. I continued to run as fast as I could until I passed the glitter girls, they realized who I was immediately and started to run after me.
'Darnit! Glitter girls! They just HAD to follow me NOW! Maybe I can outrun them.'
I easily could, since I'm not a human, I have a lot more energy, but after a really long while, my energy got super low. I eventually had to stop running, I was exhausted! I didn't show it though, I just panted a few times before they could get close enough to see me. I swallowed my toast in one gulp, then, they finally caught up with me.
Maya:"*pant* WOW!*pant, gasp* YOU RUN FAST!!*pant*"
Mackenzie:"*pant*as much as I*gasp*hate to say it*pant*it's true!"
Me:"uhh...thanks, I guess?"
I don't know how to take compliments...just then, guess who walked up to me..Adrien.
Adrien:"hey, Ira! You finally woke up! Did you get enough sleep last night, cause you slept in really late, I didn't wanna wake you up, though."
Me:"hmph, figures...You really are a Baka, you know that, Adrien?"
Just then, both me and Adrien's eyes widened as we heard squeals coming from close by. We both knew those squeals. Fangirls. The Glitter Force looked confused at first, they were probably wondering why a bunch of girls were pointing at me and Adrien with stars in their eyes.
Girls:"THE AGRESTE BOYS!!! EEEEEEE!!"
Me and Adrien:"uh, oh..."
The group of fangirls all started running after us, there was at least 18 girls, maybe more. Me and Adrien started running away shortly after they started chasing us. If you're wondering why they're all chasing me too, it's because Adrien and I are still technically Gabriel Agreste's sons. Therefore, we still have the last name Agreste. Plus, Adrien may or may not have a famous channel on the internet. He posted a video that tells everyone that me and him finally met. He didn't mention that I'm from another world or anything like that, but, other than all the magical stuff, everything was explained. It's just that, since then, girls all over the place, even at our school in Paris, have been fangirling and squealing every time they see even just one of us. Some of them are only in love with Adrien, some of them are only in love with me, a lot of them are fans of both of us, it's still a little annoying. I'm still getting used to the idea of being famous, but, this is my life now. I'm mostly just worried that our dad might see Adrien's video and try taking us back by force. He probably will show up eventually. Me and Adrien kept running away from our fans until I suddenly grabbed Adrien's hand and teleported us to the top floor of Clover Tower. The tower was closed today, because it was supposed to be a day off for all of the workers at Clover Tower, so, we were safe from anymore of our fans or enemies. I don't admit this often, but, every now and then, whenever I would explore earth, I would usually either go to Clover Tower or the beach. I would go to Clover Tower whenever I wanted a clear view of the city. I would go to the beach whenever I felt alone or upset...before now, I would get lonely or sad because of how ripped apart my life always was...so I would go to the beach, because it was the first place that anyone had made me feel...complete...and safe...that's the way Rachel made me feel that day...the day I got amnesia...she made me feel something I'd never felt before and..well, I guess after that day, I had a place to remember that some people care...to remember that not everybody wants to hear me suffer...I go to the beach more than I go to the tower, the beach is my favourite place. To my surprise, the Glitter Force actually had the nerve to fly up to the tower!! These girls just won't give up until they beat at least one mercenare for the day, will they?
Natalie:"let the civilian go, Ira!!"
'Let him go? Oh, no...don't tell me they think...'
I step forward and give the girls a cold look,
Me:"or what? You can't arrest me, that would lead to chaos."
Mackenzie:"maybe..but we can still keep you somewhere...now, for the second time, let the civilian go."
Rachel:"huh? Mackenzie, what are you suggesting?"
Diamond said, in...a worried tone? Spade and Ace were about to attack me. Diamond tried stopping them, but couldn't get them to put their weapons down. I was frozen in surprise and fear, I couldn't move.
Rachel:"ACE! SPADE! STOP IT!"
They still wouldn't stop, they shot their attacks, but, Adrien jumped on me and pushed us both out of the way before the attacks got us! Diamond, Heart and Clover were able to contain their partners.
Adrien:"heh, you sure do seem to get into a lot of trouble, don't you, Ira?"
Me:"ugh, ya think?"
Me and Adrien get up and I Immediately kicked Ace in the head, after that, I turned around and smacked Spade across the face. I hit them both so hard that they both landed on the floor.
Me:"that's what you get for nearly killing me!! What the heck is wrong with you two?! You can't get Splendorious back to normal without killing a mercenare, is that it?!?! And why's it always gotta be me, huh?! You can't try to kill Marmo or Bel?!?! Jeez!!"
I said, really just annoyed at how I'm always the target. I'M NOT AS WEAK AS I LOOK, YA KNOW!!!! I CAN FIGHT IF I HAVE TO!!! I'M NOT ABOUT TO BE AN EASY TARGET!!!!!
N & M:"*mad about being smacked*grr..."
Rachel:"sorry, girls, but, you were kind of asking for it."
Adrien:"yeah, no kidding. Hey, why are you people always trying to kill my brother, huh?"
'SHOOT! He wasn't supposed to mention we were brothers to them!!'
Glitter Force:"your BROTHER?!?!"
Me:"hehe...heh..."
Adrien:"oops..."
Maya:"w-w...w...what?"
Natalie:"b-but..how's that even.."
Mackenzie:"p-possible?"
Clara:"you don't even look alike...and one's a mercenare...so...how would...that work?"
I explain everything I know about the situation, after answering all their questions, they finally calmed down.
Mackenzie:"hold on, what's your name, anyway?"
Adrien:"ah, that's right! Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself properly. My name's Adrien Agreste! Twin brother to Ira and-"
Me:"OK!! That's enough of your silly knight in shining armer introduction😅..."
I said, slightly embarrassed, dragging Adrien away from the girls.
Adrien:"h-hey!! I wasn't done yet!! Ira!! Let me goooooo!!"
Me:"nope, I'm dragging you home, and we're never speaking of this ever again..."
Adrien:"b-b-but-but!! Iraaaaa!!!"
Me:"nope!! We're going home!!!"
Adrien:"awwwwww!!"
Adrien whined as I dragged him away, Diamond and the rest of her team just giggled at the sight. I teleported with Adrien, we both immediately went to our room, and plopped on our beds. Oh, that's right! I think I forgot to mention, Adrien and I share a room now, we finally got a bed for him!! Anyway, yeah, I just hope our dad doesn't see Adrien's video anytime soon, that would ruin things, I hope things can just stay the way they are for now, and not slip back into how things used to be...when I was alone...no, when we were both alone...I hope it never comes back to that. I hope...I hope Adrien, me and mom can all stay together...forever...without dad in the picture.

Rachel's POV
After Ira and Adrien left, me and the girls all de-transformed and started laughing at how crazy today was. Who knew Ira had a twin brother? Non-identical, but still born on the same day, so, they're fraternal twins. Awhile later, I had went to the library to think things over, Ira and Adrien seem to have quite the good relationship, even though they're personality's are completely different. Though...it's a little sad that their dad was such a jerk...actually, a little worse than that, he had no time for them and was more focused on work than his own family. He didn't even love them anymore when he found out that Ira and his mom were mercenare's! And the look on Ira's face when he told us about his dad...he doesn't seem to care too much for him..though, then again, how could he? That man has no right to even be called their dad anymore. It's good that Adrien and Ira live together with their mom now, though. I hope she gets over her drinking problem soon. I can't believe how complicated Ira's life has gotten, and yet...that only made him happier, today was the first time I had ever seen him smile, other than the amnesia incident, that is. I think he's happy because of Adrien, I think..even though Adrien and Ira are different, they're the same. They're both silly and childish at times, and every now and then, they'll get protective of the other. They help each other. One is more mean, while the other is more kind. Like yin and yang. Though, they're not all that different because of the fact that on the inside, Ira is sweet and kind like Adrien is. Ira just prefers to hide it and be a complete tsundere until he knows he can trust someone and let his kindness out. I wonder if something happened to make him that way, or he's just always been that way. I'll have to ask him sometime.
Me:"well, I'd better get home soon, it's getting late."
I said, quietly, remembering I was still sitting in the library. I checked out a couple of books, and walked home.
