Goddess of innocence {Kol Mikaelson}

Kol had been daggered five times throughout the years and I went along with him begging Nik to do so, which was surprisingly hard, Nik never left us there for long because of the guilt of having me in there and he figured it was punishment enough for his brother. When I had it with the daggers I made it to where Kol was not able to cause trouble which lucky me, I was able to do most the time.

One time I'm not proud of was when I was helping Kol get a diamond. The paragon diamond. I was tired of Kol's slip ups and Nik threatening his brother any time we were around him and the others. That got him daggered and ultimately, me daggered.

No matter how much danger we got in we helped each other and stayed by each other. Something we always made sure of was to protect each other like we could never dagger each other or snap each others necks and we most certainly did not drain each other of blood. We didn't like seeing each other dead at all it broke our hearts especially if it was caused by each other.

The kids aren't kids anymore and they made their life away from Kol and I. They had stopped aging at 18 Aleah wanted to turn and Jonathan's vampire side was unleashed when I turned him.

But now we are called back home for a family reunion.

Here in the 20th century has been quite the journey and it's better then any other century so far. Elijah called me on a cellphone to tell me that me and Kol should drop by to have a family reunion. Every one out and dagger free. So when I got there I called him to tell him to open the door.

"It's nice to see you Raea my little sister." He says quietly and hugs me.

"Big brother why must we whisper." I asked.

"You shall see." I got out of his arms and held Kol's hand kissing him.

"Shall we?" I asked gesturing to where Elijah went.

"We shall."

We stayed behind the wall to wait for our cue to burst Nik's bubble.

"Elijah. Why haven't you left?" I heard Nik ask.

"Well, where are your manners, brother? You forgot desert."

"What have you done?"

"What have you done. See, I've learned not to trust your vulgar promises, Klaus. The only ones you ever kept was to the women you can never have." Not this again. He doesn't love me...can't people realize this? "So, we are doing this on my terms now." I looked at Kol and bit my lip walking out with him.

I haven't seen Nik in a long time he has cleaned up pretty damn well. "Kol...Astraea." He said with wide eyes.

I smiled at him while Kol replied, "Long time, brother." Kol walked closer and let go of my hand to which I stayed along side Elijah.

Finn vamp speeds in and grabs a dagger getting closer to Nik. "Finn, don't." Finn stabs Nik in the hand and I wince. Nik screams out in pain. That has to hurt...

He takes it out and Nik vamp speeds away only to get blocked by Rebekah. "Rebekah!"

She stabs him in the gut making him double over in pain. He screams out in pain again. What an amazing family reunion...note the sarcasm.

"This is for our mother." Oh, she must know about what Nik did. I wonder who else knows? She takes it out and he stumbles back right into Kol's arms.

Rebekah gets closer when Elijah speaks from beside me. "You're free to go," I then realize two other men who had been staring at me were standing by. They walked out and Nik looked at the brown haired dude. "This is family business."

"Well isn't this a lovely way to greet each other again." I say sarcastically as we move to a new room. Nik sits on the desk head hung low and I leaned into Kol smelling his ridiculously good smelling cologne. "You smell nice." I say as I close my eyes. He chuckles rubbing circles on my waist.

Rebekah starts walking around in her red dress looking around the place. "I like what you've done to the new place, Nik." She bends over grabbing a glass vase. She throws it at a lovely painting and it falls off.

In a broken voice Nik looks over in her direction with his head still down, "I wanted it to be for all of us. A place we could all call home; A place we could all be a family." He picks his head up and you could see the hurt on his face, "None of us would ever have to be alone again."

"Oh, your right none of us will be." Elijah says as he walks to the right of Nik.

"You're staying behind." Finn spoke.

"We're leaving you, Nik. Right after I kill that doppleganger wench. And you will be alone. Always and forever." Rebekah finishes. I feel bad, all the bad things he has done, it was for us even if his plans didn't work out in the end, he tried.

"You run. I will hunt all of you down." Isn't that just peachy. The five of us stood on one side and I looked up to Kol who kissed my forehead.

"And then you'll become everything you hate. Our father." Elijah spoke in a calm manner as usual.

"I'm the hybrid! I can't be killed! I have nothing to fear from any of you!"

"You will when we have that coffin." Elijah said silencing the room.

They all stare at each other and I just look at the ground like it's the most interesting thing in the world. I hate silence now. We all heard foot steps and the door opens and all our heads shoot to the direction. Nik gasps and my eyes widen. Holy hell!

"Esther..." I whisper.

"Mother?" Rebekah asks in shock. Esther looks straight at Nik and walks to him as they made room for her to do so.

Nik looks down scared and shocked he did not dare look at Esther and I could see the tears. I hate it when he cries it's not right.

"Look at me." He brought his head up but still didn't look her in the eyes. "Do you know why I'm here?" He looks her in the eyes finally and I could tell he is scared shitless.

When he finds his voice it was definitely fearful he seemed very frightened, "You're here to kill me."

"Niklaus, you are my son. And I am here to forgive you." She turns around to face the rest of us and I can certainly say It's been a long ass time since I seen her face. "I want us to be a family again."

I guess I should call my kids back then. Family reunion. Always the best with the Mikaelsons.
