Goddess of innocence {Kol Mikaelson}

Short but cute chap.

The thunder roared as the rain poured heavily outside. Astraea was in a hut in the corner hidden by a table. She was curled in a ball her face in between her legs as she cried whenever the loud noise and lightning appeared. She was outside when it started and she was to scared to be out any longer and found the closest shelter.

"Astraea?" Her head shot up when she heard her name being called by that familar voice. He came into her view and he was soaked in water. He looked everywhere for the girl he loved despite being told not to.

Her tear stained face came into his view when he found her huddled on the floor. His face softened upon seeing her puffy eyes red noses.

"Hey, hey. What's wrong?" He asked as he got down to her level.

The thunder came down again making the scared girl jump and yelp more tears coming down. She didn't want him near her when she cried, she seemed weak and she isn't weak.

"Please, leave me Kol." She shoved her face in her knees again keeping her face away from him.

He moved closer to her and lifted her head but she looked down so he wouldn't see her bloodshot eyes.

"Come on, darling. Look at me. I won't tease you." He said softly. She looked up at him and he took that as an invatation to pull her into him calming her shaking figure. "It's ok to be scared you don't need to hide it."

She calmed down more as he rubbed her arms and pat her hair. She leaned her head on his chest focusing on his heartbeat instead of the thunder. The smell he radiated soothed her and made it easier to tune out everything.

"Thank you, Kol." She mumbled into his chest.

"I'm here for you, Always and Forever." She blinked back the tears and the boy got an idea. "I know how to cheer you up." She looked at him confused and he moved around the hut grabbing feathers.

"What are you doing?" She asked watching him with intrigue.

"I will only ever do this for you." He held the feathers in his hand and focused on them. Kol spread out his hands letting the feathers raise around the two.

Both their faces lit up at the sight in front of them. Kol because of the smile he caused on his love's face, Astraea because of the beautiful feathers that are floating. She reached out and booped one causing it to move. He then made the feathers swirel arund them causing Astraea to giggle in joy.

"I love this, Kol!" She jumped on him knocking him down and she hugged the life out of him. The feathers dropped with them landing on the girls hair and on the floor.

"I'm glad you do, love." He chuckled and looked at the shorter girl.

"I love you, Kol, Always and forever." She kissed his cheek and laid her head on his chest and cuddled into him with a smile on her face. The thunder was long forgotten.

"I love you too, Astraea, Always and Forever." He kissed the sleeping girl's head with a genuine smile on his face.

He truly did love this girl and he would do anything and be anything for her. He belonged to her and she didn't even know it.

Always and Forever is their promise to each other and neither would forget it and neither would dare break their promise.
