A Different Future (Snowbarry)

Chapter 2

"wait what!?" Iris said finally able to speak.
"I'm your daughter from the future" she smiled.
"How are you here?" Barry asked
"Oh yeah sorry I forgot I'm a speedster just like dad" she smiled again.
"Wow" Joe said
"Well congratulations Joe your a grandpa" Barry smiled
"I'm not old enough to be called grandpa" Joe moaned
"That's why in the future I call you papa Joe and Mama Cecil" Nora smiled "and it looks like I'm going to be here for a while so I might as well call you papa Joe" Nora said
"What do you mean?" Iris asked
"I've lost some of my speed, I can't run fast enough to travel into the future" Nora explained.
"I think that Caitlin should run some tests on you Nora just to make sure your ok" Barry said
"Yes I might be able to find out what's wrong with you Nora" Caitlin smiled at her.
"No!" Nora said quickly "I'm fine" she said folding her arms over her chest looking at Caitlin.
"Hey Nora don't be so rude to Caitlin where did that come from?" Barry asked his daughter.
"Sorry dad it's a future thing" she said looking down at the floor.
"Hey Barry it's fine I should get back to star labs anyway" Caitlin said putting down her glass and leaving the house.
"Nora come on whatever she did in the future to upset you was probably to protect you" he said as he walked out the door to catch Caitlin.
"Definitely in my best interest" Nora said frowning.

Outside
"Hey Cait wait up" Barry called.
"I'm sorry for upsetting Nora" Caitlin said as she turned around and frowned.
"It wasn't your fault, at least not yet anyway, just please come back inside" Barry pleaded.
"I don't want to upset Nora" Caitlin smiled, she smiled the same smile that Barry loved.
"I know just please come inside and we can try to straighten this out" he pleaded again.
"Ok" Caitlin smiled again even brighter.
