A Different Future (Snowbarry)

Chapter 13

"I'm so sorry Cait" Barry said pulling his shirt over his head.
"For what bare?" She asked doing the buttons on her shirt back up.
"For what iris said, it was wrong of her" he frowned.
"She has a right to her own thoughts" she said slipping her heels on.
"Not when she hurts you like that, you mean the world to me Cait and you deserve not to be bullied by Iris and what she thinks" Barry huffed as he tied his shoelaces.
"The other day you said you wanted to be sure that you were making the right choice between iris and me, doesn't this change your perspective?" She asked not daring to look at him.
"Loving someone is about looking past their faults and I have looked past hers since we were 10" he frowned.
"I understand" she said before walking off towards the cortex. Barry huffed putting his head in his hands. He made a big mistake. He has fallen for two girls who he is completely in love with. How could he ever choose between the two. 

It had been tense all day especially between Caitlin and Barry. Barry had to make a choice between the two but who to choose was the hardest choice he has ever had to made. He loved them both. Iris left to go to the police station after the tension grew to much. Cisco was left on his own in the cortex whilst Caitlin was in the med bay and Barry sat in the lab. Cisco was left in the middle, literally.

"Hey baby girl" Joe smiled at iris.
"Hey dad" she smiled hugging her father.
"What's up?" Joe asked as he began walking to his office.
"Nothing, I just wanted to see you, do you know Caitlin's dating a married man?" She asked following him.
"Caitlin really? It doesn't seem like something she'd do" Joe commented.
"We all thought that, who's he?" Iris commented as a guy she hadn't seen before sat at her dad's old desk.
"That's James, he's an alright guy" Joe said entering his office.
"Interesting" iris said quietly to herself before entering her dad's office.
