Rogue POV

The next morning begins the usual way. With morning sex, me making the both of us breakfast, kissing Kamen Goodbye, dealing with the mess I've left behind, getting dressed, going out. That is until a call goes in on my phone. I am summoned to the main quarters for the S-Class. I calmly make my way as some alarms start blaring, announcing a level Dragon threat. Quickly I start flying until I notice a child lost in the middle of the panic. Quickly I snatch it up and the small boy, maybe 5, cries into my chest. "Hey little guy. I'll take you somewhere safe.", I tell him and he nods as I dash off in the sky, shielding him from the deadly wind with my body until I've reached a Z-City shelter where I leave him. Then I see it. A meteor. About to fall on my town and a fire beam trying to stop it. GENOS! As fast as I can without harming anyone I rush towards them and find Saitama there, as well as an old man and an exhausted Genos. "Hey Rogue. Mind giving me some bonus?", Saitama asks me and I chuckle. "Not in the slightest.. One Punch Man." He grins and I grab his foot, kneel down. "Don't die.", I only tell him, then catapult him upwards, watching as he shattered the meteorite. Then to keep the damage at a minimum I open my arms. Water whips shoot out of the ground and I hear Genos gasp. "Go back... Where you came from.", I growl and slap them out of the stratosphere and back into space. Still quite a few pieces crash into some buildings but at least I put out the fires quickly. "So you are the new number one, aren't you?", the old man asks. I nod, my open hair dancing rhythmically around my face. "That's why you are called Avatar Rogue Sensei! Please allow me to fight you soon.", Genos tells me and I chuckle. "Oh sweet summer child.. Okay. I will." The building starts to shake. Quickly I grab Genos and fly off, carrying him bridal style. We land in a safe distance, the old dude behind us. "So you are the new number one in the building. I'm Silverfang, but you may call me Bang. I'm rank thr... four." I nod and shrug slightly. "Good to know I guess..." Saitama walks up to us in his usual relaxed manner. "Hey Genos. Everything alright with you?" "Yes, Sensei. But Rogue Sensei promised me a fight." "Well then.. I want in." "No, Saitama. He wants me to unleash my full power, doesn't he..?", I ask Genos and he nods firmly. "I would wipe out your existence, because you are still only skin muscles and bones, just like any average human. Before I even allow myself to do it to Genos.. What kind of Metal is your body made of?" "Solid steel, Sensei.", he proudly announces. I nod. "No live parts whatsoever?" He nods. "Good. Because else you would die. I'll take you to some desert Island. If that is okay with you." Genos nods. "Yes." I grab him and leave Saitama and Silverfang behind, this time with a tad of destructive speed, the floor underneath my feat cracking up and some buildings. Break. But soon enough we are so high, I don't destroy anything.

At a deserted Island in the middle of the ocean I land and put my hair up again. Nothing in sight. Good. I brought us straight into the Bermuda Triangle to keep us safe from killing anyone. But for safety reasons I created a solid metal dome in a radius of 3 kilometers all around us with a fake sun being the only source of light whatsoever. "Well.. Let's fight!" Genos immediately I am greeted by a hot fire fountain. I just bend and remain unharmed. "Okay. You want the full power? You can... HAVE IT!" And this once I release all of my power, screaming as it blasts off. The palm tree on the island is nothing but a shadow and Genos himself has thrown himself to the ground. The BOOM is so loud any persons eardrums would have burst. The dome has been destroyed and dead fish start to surface. Monster waves rush away from us and the birds that were flying around here crash into the sea. The Cyborg looks at me horrified at to what effect I can use my powers. "Your energy. Its higher than 50 atomic bombs exploding!" "Get up, little boy. I do believe this fight is over. I don't want to draw more attention. Let's go." He nods and takes my hand, but I pull him into my arms, levitate and then shoot off, back to Z City.
I drop him off at his and Saitamas, then walk into my own apartment, lay down and start wondering. "What would I be.. Where would I be without my power?" Who would I be if not for the death of my parents? I don't know. But I like to think they would appreciate the way my life turned out. The man I fell in love with all those years ago. The friends I have. The path I've chosen.
