I know what you're thinking: 'Finally! Black Butler!' Except, I've modified it to my own designs. The characters are mostly the same, except for a couple differences. You'll see what I mean. :)

The Chairman gave us a break for three days, seeing as Valentines Day was coming up. I didn't know what the big deal was, but he told us to get a lot of sleep. Then, everyone started hearing a noise.

First night I heard it: I threw a pillow over my head and went back to sleep.

Second night I heard it: I looked around sleepily, groaned, and eventually fell asleep.

The third night, however, I could not go back to sleep. A long, bonechilling howl echoed resounded through my open window. I knew that howl, but I desperately didn't want to think about what it could mean. I spent the rest of the night staring up at the ceiling, willing myself not to think about it, not even wanting to glance out the window in the fear of what I could-would-see.

That morning, after I'd gotten ready, I found Yuki and Zero barring the entrance/exit of the DAy Dorms.

"Please stay here, there has been a sighting of a dangerous wild animal on campus. We have everything under control!" Yuki said, but I could tell from the slight crack in her voice that it really wasn't. Scary face on, I took a whistle out of my pocket and blew it at the top of my lungs.

"Get back to your dorms now, unless you want to be mauled by some wild animal! NOW!" Then I added quietly, dramatically, "Oh, how will you ever face the Night Class with mauled faces?" It was only then that the Day Class practically stampeded over me to get back to their dorms. I brushed myself off, muttering, "Zombies."

"Thanks, Zephyra, you've been a big help!" Yuki gave me a big thumbs up and pat my back.

"What's this about a wild animal?" I said, trying to appear uninterested.

"Oh, just a big wolf. The Night Class is taking care of it as we speak." Yuki babbled on, but I wasn't listening. I was pretty sure of what the Night Class's definition of 'taking care of' was. My eyes widened, and, before anything else could be said, I bolted out the door. "Z-Zephyra?" Yuki called after me, but I wasn't listening. I just kept running and running, thinking, 'I swear I'm going to kill you if you so much as scratch him.'

After a long ways, I exhaled and gave a long whistle. Immediately, a sound like a minature earthquake rumbling through campus. Quickly, I turned to see a white wolf the size of a house bounding towards me, its lolling tongue the size of a person. It had vividly crimson eyes, sparkly white fur, paws as big as volkswagons, and a tail like a silken banner flowing in the wind.

"Zephyra!" Suddenly, I noticed Aido hanging onto the wolf's tail for dear life. "Get out of the way!" Instead of listening, I calmly extended my palm out.

"Pluto," I said, causing the wolf's triangular ears to perk up. "Sit," He kept barreling towards me. "Pluto," I commanded, narrowing my eyes, "Sit!" The wolf was ten yards away, ten feet, ten inches, and, finally, at ten centimeters, I took yet another whistle out of my pocket. I took a deep breath and blew, the wolf suddenly stopping, whining, and covering its ears with its paws. "Now then," I pocketed the whistle, causing the wolf to stand uncertainly. "Sit." The wolf happily obeyed, wagging his tail ecstatically and sending Aido far off into the trees with a screech. "Good boy," I pat the dog's wet, black nose, the size of a dinner plate. "Everyone," I didn't have to turn to know the Night Class was there. The majority of malicious stares pierced into my back like well placed throwing knives. I continued to pet Pluto's silky muzzle. "Meet Pluto, Pluto, this is the Night Class." Turning, I saw a sea of surprised, pale faces and white uniforms. "I can handle this. You can go back to..." I made a shooing gesture with my hand. "Whatever you were doing." The whole of the Night Class didn't move as I pulled a rope out of my pack. I felt around on Pluto's neck until I found the thick leather band that served as his collar. After tying the thick rope securely around it, I began to lead the willing Pluto away, but I discovered the Night Class now barred my path. In fact, I realized as I turned in a complete circle, Pluto and I were surrounded by the vampires of the Night Class.
