Chapter 11: Past

It was another typical day for Fairy Tail, no one ever felt sad or despair since Lucy. Everyone nowadays have been talking to Lucy a lot, when they heard the powers Lucy gained during her one month training. She was often showered with greetings and waving, it was almost as if she were a celebrity or someone important like a VIP.

Mirajane: Morning, Lucy! What can I get for you today?

Lucy: The usual, Mira. A peach mango smoothie.

Mirajane: Right away!

Mirajane went to work as she blended and whipped a creamy delicious smoothie with some ice and a tiny umbrella adorned with a pink flower to make it look tropical and the reminiscence of a sunset.

Mirajane: One peach mango smoothie!

Lucy: Thanks, Mira!

Lucy grabbed the drink and sipped it through her straw and enjoyed her beverage, she looked at her belt and reached her hand into the pocket with her Gate Keys. She grabbed a hold of Libra, Pisces and Ophiuchus' keys and looked at them and smiled.

Lucy: Don't worry, Yukino. I'll be sure to use and care for them properly.

Happy and Natsu came up to Lucy to check on her and what she was doing.

Happy: Hey, Lucy!

Lucy: Oh? Hey, Happy!

Natsu: What you doing?

Lucy: I'm taking a break from going anywhere cause I've been training in Stella for one month, I already paid my rent so I don't need a job and yeah. That pretty much explains it.

Natsu: Oh ok, then me and Happy will take a job then, I'll see you when I get back.

Lucy: Right, see you.

Natsu then kissed Lucy on the cheek giving her a rosy smile on her face, Mirajane and Lisanna who were watching smiled for them. Lucy got back to reading her book and sipping her peach mango smoothie, she flipped her book page to page with her hand. As she turned her book from page to page, she started to think about her family. The Heartfilia and their connection with the Dragneel along with Mavis and Zeref.

To Lucy, she felt like Mavis and Zeref knew more about her family's secret past than what she was told. She couldn't help but think what if there was more answers to her family's connection with Mavis, Zeref and Natsu's family. What was really unexplainable was that if she was with her parents, Mavis, Zeref and everyone in the past, how come she didn't remember it? Even though Natsu was there, she wouldn't be surprised in the very least since he doesn't have a great memory. Who knows, Lucy decided that she still need answers by talking to Zeref and Mavis themselves.

MEANWHILE...

In her hand, Mavis held a hand sized Lacrima crystal ball and looked at it as it glistened from the sunlight passing through the tree leaves.

Mavis: I think it's time to tell Lucy about her memories, and Natsu too. But I don't know when's the right time..

Zeref: Perhaps now, you should tell her about how she wasn't able to remember our past if she was in it. It's best to tell Lucy and Natsu now.

Mavis: I agree, I'll have to go and give Lucy this-

Lucy: Hey, Mavis! Hey, Zeref!
