Chapter 13: Black Ankh

Ever since her date with Natsu, Lucy couldn't stop having dreamy thoughts and strong feelings for Natsu. Her feelings this time was different, but good. Usually she would laugh, get mad, and often cry at times in certain situations with Natsu. But right now, she was brimming with love, nothing more than the feeling of pure, genuine, true love.

Lucy sighed, but in a good way as her mind was in the clouds, thinking about Natsu. The girls have noticed that Lucy has been acting like this ever since the date.

Cana: Hey, Lucy. Are you feeling ok? You've been like this for quite a while now..

Lucy: Yeah..I'm fine..

Wendy: Are you sick? Your face is red.

When Wendy went to reach a hand out to Lucy's forehead, her forehead was hot which somehow burned Wendy's hand.

Wendy: Uwah! Hot! Are you sick?

Lucy: No.

Carla: Hmm, you've been acting strange, what's  going on?

Laki: I know what it is.

Wendy: What is it?

Laki: Lucy...couldn't stop thinking about her boyfriend!

Cana: Yeah, I figured that was the case.

Juvia: Going out with Natsu sure did something to Lucy alright.

Lisanna: Hehe! She's lovesick!

Lucy: Ahh..love...What a beautiful thing..

Evergreen: Huh, she's off in her own world.

Kinana: That's cute.

Erza: We should leave her be, we should be happy that's she happy with Natsu.

Mirajane: Indeed!

As everyone chattered happily amongst one another, running footsteps came pounding in along with the opened doors slammed loudly for everyone to hear.

Levy: Guys! Something terrible has happened!

Lucy: Huh?

Lucy's train of thought soon halted as soon as she heard Levy shout from the entrance of Fairy Tail.

Erza: Levy, what's going on?

Levy: You've got to see this! Master and First Master too! You have to come as well!

Makarov: My, what is it?

Lucy: Levy, what's going on?

Mavis: Can you at least tell us what's going on?

Jet: It's terrible, it's horrifying!

Mavis: Eh?

Droy: There has been death cases all over Magnolia Town!

Jet: And the East Forest as well!

When the word 'death' was blurted out loud, everyone who was standing froze and wondered what they meant by death.

Lucy: D-Death!?

Levy: Come follow us! We'll show you!

Everyone came running out as they followed Shadow Gear who were showing them the way where they need to go.

The guild soon stopped and saw what was in front of their eyes and everyone froze with horror and sickened looks as they saw what was in front of them. What was in front of their very eyes were people who were dead...Their bodies were shrivelled, pale and their eyes were void of life leaving them blank white. Their bodies decayed as the smell of rotten flesh and death spread. Royal guards were shown as they picked up the dead bodies and placed them in black bags and zipped them up.
