It was just another ordinary day at the office.
“Leah!” *Jennifer yells running into her office.*
“What?” *she whines*
“I have all these folders to file and I can’t for it by myself will you help me please?” *giving Leah a puppy dog face.*
“Ugh I can’t say no to that face.” *hugging her and taking half of the pile.*
Jennifer’s P.O.V
Oh my god I have all this shit to do, and I have to be home to see Marc and the kids. Good thing Leah is my girl. I don’t know what I would do without her sometimes we are like two peas in a pod. I didn’t work as a head secretary and Leah be my assistant I wouldn’t get through my day. Our boss Mr.O’Loughlin and his brother Mr. Smart can be real assholes sometimes and when their friends stop by the office oh lord I just can’t even..wait back to the folders.
“WHERE IS THIS LEAH LADY?” *somebody shouts from out in the lobby*
Jen looks up at Leah. and her eyes widen. She walks outside to find a woman in the lobby.
“Shit Jen I talked to her a week ago about setting her up with an appointment with Mr. Alex and forgot.”
“Are you Leah?” *pointing at her*
“Yeah why?”
“Where was my call back.”
“Listen Ms..”
“Carter.”
“Ms. Carter there has been a lot of..” *cutting Leah off*
“Just because you rich bitches can hang around, and drink martini’s in this big ass office, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t ignore a call to the head of this business…”
Leah just stood in shock.
“Ma’am excuse me but you don’t know half..”
*The woman slaps Leah and goes to walk away*
“Hey bitch.”
*She turned around and Jennifer bitch slapped her across the face leaving a mark.*
“Next time you’ll think twice about what you say and how you act because now you definitely don’t have the appointment.”
The lady ran out sobbing and Jen turned to Leah who started cracking up.
“Leah are you alright that’s a nice mark you’ve got.”
“Yeah I’ll be fine.”
“Alright let’s just get this shit done and get outta here.”
Later that night.
“Alright Mr. Alex Leah and I are leaving see you on Monday.”
“Okay girls, you sure you don't want my body.” *Beau Smart comments*
“We are married thank you very much Mr. Smart, but you’re also very immature for my age. Goodnight.” *they walked out laughing*
“Marc I’m home.”
“Hi mami.” *kissing her and twirling her around.* “I missed you, how was work?”
“I bitch slapped a bitch!”
*Laughing* “What?”
“Long story let’s just sit here with me in your arms and relax, are the kids sleeping?”
