A few hours later the doctor comes out. Taking off her mask and cap.
“Jennifer sit down please.”
Her hands come to her face.
“He’s is the room, waiting for you. He lost a lot of blood he is still trying to regain it we gave him a blood transfusion he will be good.”
She smiles and a tear falls down her face.
“You guys are welcome to all the care you need since it’s in his plan.”
“What plan?”
“Well he has served our country.”
“What?”
“Yeah he was in the army from the time he was 18-30 years old being transported and stationed places. He has been stationed here for 7 years now.”
“Oh I didn’t know…”
“The best thing to do for him right now it let him rest, go home ease yourself he is in the best care. I can promise he will heal rather quickly he’s been through more being in the military than anything.”
A few days passed and Harry was getting better by the minute. Jennifer has taken off of work for a week or two pushing the Gucci project back because she has to take care of Harry. He is okay to come home. They brought him home last night and said to be careful on his leg and not to walk too much and no physical activity. They were sitting in her bed watching tv eating cookies.
“Harry why didn’t you tell me?”
“Tell you what?”
“That you were in the military and technically still are.”
“I know..I should have I just didn’t know.”
“Know what?”
“If we were gonna stay together.”
“in all honesty I’m living in the moment and where I wanna be is in your arms with you. I’m not thinking about the future at the moment I thinking about right here right now.”
He leans over to kiss her.
“I missed that, your sweet, soft lips, your hand on my cheek and that smile.”
Jen smiles.
“So why are you a dancer if everything is pretty much paid for you?”
“Because it’s fun, think if I didn’t I wouldn’t have met you.”
“True.” Well you better take your medicine.
“Okay Doctor.”
A few more months pass and Harry’s leg is 85% healed. Jennifer has done three total photo shoots with Gucci and received 20,000 dollars for all three shoots. Harry has been going to boot camp on weekends to help get him back into shape just in case of anything. They celebrate 6 months today. Jennifer and Harry are a couple and have put it out there which has made Mr. Affleck ever so more interested in Jennifer.
“Jennifer?”
“Yeah? Mr. Affleck, I mean Ben.”
“Did you understand this new program at all, because I don’t.” Playing dumb
“You’re the one who approved of it.”
“Please come help me with it.”
“Okay.”
She bent over the keyboard with her butt sticking out at Ben. He smirked and laid his arm on it using it as a rest.
“Ben..”
