Jennifer was walking into the building of Affleck enterprises. His secretary sent her up right away even though she was early.
“Ahh Miss. Lopez, I was hoping you’d come.”
“Yeah..I just have some concerns.”
“No..I know what you are going to say I heard about the incident with O’Loughlin’s building and his brother, It’s just me and me only and you are my co-owner, you and I are partners in this.”
Partners It echoed in her head.
“SO what do you say, It would make me very honored to have you here. Your work is phenomenal, and ontop of that you’re just a very beautiful woman.I’ll pay you double Alex did too.”
“Uhm, yeah I think I’ll take it.”
He ran over to her picked her up and squeezed her.
“Um, Mr. Affleck.”
“Oh sorry, I just I’m so happy. How about we start you tomorrow? Make sure you have proper clothes nothing too low, and or short. Fridays we wear casual clothes of your choice, if you want to stay dressed up be my guest. You’ll have this employee credit car used for any purchases of your choice as long as you pay at the end of the month your portion of the bill.”
“Oh wow this is amazing, thankyou.”
“You’re very welcome now get going I’ll see you tomorrow yeah?”
“Yes sir, 9:00 am sharp.”
“Wadya mean Jen? I thought we were partners, I don’t want to dance with anybody else.”
“You sure seemed pretty happy with Christina.”
“Are you jealous?.” *he smirked*
“No.” *she tried to hide a smile* “This job it’s more for me, it’s right up my alley and pays well, Harry what you do is more than I could ask for this job is me, co-owner big money, I can support my sister at home. She’s ill and my mom can’t keep paying for her appointments and medicine. I need to do it for her sometimes. You have to understand that for me.” *holding his hands*
“I do, I understand, when will I see you though?”
“i don’t know big boy that’s your job not mine.” *she said walking away*
He ran up behind her hugging her waist. “Tonight 8:00 pm no later.”
As he let go she smiled and walked out of the club.
Walking up to the door she didn’t even knock, Harry opened the door.
“I saw you pull up, and wow you look..”
“Gorgeous, beautiful?” *she giggled*
“No...perfect”
*She bit her lip*
She’s like an angel, she just glows.
“Come on, food is inside.”
She sat down to see a candle lit, with wine poured and grilled chicken waiting for her. They ate and talked the whole night before she knew it was 11:00 pm.
“I should probably go I have work in the morning.”
“No, you can’t go this late, this neighborhood is very dangerous at night. I insist you stay.” *trying so hard no to smile*
“I don’t have a change of clothes.”
“Who said we need clothes.” *smirking*
She rolled her eyes. He walked over to her pulling her chair out as she had the glass of wine in her hand.
