Chapter 13:

Niall's POV.

Autumn hasn't been herself ever since she's been frozen in that water.

It's only been a few days as well.

We catch her singing more often, she works out more, and whenever she enters a room it always seems to get cooler.

She isn't as fun to be around anymore.

Also, Liam has lost interest in her.

He's dating Sophia Smith, a water type.

I think that made Autumn even more depressed.

She's been acting all serious lately and has been wearing black.

Right now, the boys and I are in the kitchen, discussing about what to do about this.

"Maybe a spell was cast on her." Louis suggested.

"I'm not quite sure about that mate. I've been reading up on her case and it's something that is very hard to figure out. Everything's phrased in puzzles and such." Zayn said.

"You know, it is possible that maybe she's the 'missing one'." Liam said with all seriousness.

We all looked at Liam in complete shock.

Could she be?

"And how would you know that?" I asked him.

"She's been having very deep thoughts lately, some of them being about who is traumatizing her with these spells." Liam explained.

"It's happened before?" Harry asked.

"Yeah, her first night here she thought someone was following her when she was outside, also one night she was sitting on the roof and the stars started spelling out strange things, and the ice thing." He explained further.

"Do we want to break this news to her?" I asked them.

Zayn rubbed his face. "I don't think now is the greatest time."

"When else are we supposed to do it?" Harry asked.

"How about after our interview tonight?" Liam suggested.

Before any of us could answer, Autumn walked in.

"Hello Liam, Niall, Zayn, Louis, Harry." She greeted us with nods before grabbing a glass out of the cupboard and pouring water into it.

She's wearing some black leggings and a black long sleeve shirt.

Her hair is slightly curled.

"Hey, how've you been feeling?" I asked her.

She looked up at me.

Her eyes are a completely different shade of blue now, almost black.

"Just fine. Are you going to be gone tonight?" she asks.

"We have an interview." Louis pipes up.

She nods and takes her glass of water before exiting the room.

But as I watch her leave, I swear I could see the water in her glass freeze.

Oh no.

Is she the missing one?

~

Autumn's POV.

The boys had just left for their interview.

As soon as they left, I broke down.

I have no idea what's happening to me.

I feel like something has been taking over my brain.
