Chapter 21

Chapter 21:

Zayn's POV.

It's now nine o'clock and we're all waiting for Autumn and Winter to show up.

Niall's plan should work, I hope.

I haven't said anything about that yet, have I?

First, we try to weaken them, then try and defeat Winter and send her to prison, and finally grab Autumn and high tale it out of there.

Then we live happily ever after and I become her boyfriend.

Just being honest here.

I stared off into space as I leaned against a light pole.

"What's on your mind mate?" Liam walked up to me with his hands in his pockets.

"I'm just worried." I answered, looking at the ground.

Liam sighed, "I'm worried too. I don't want to go through a situation where Winter defeats us and we never see her again. But," I glared up at him, "I'm sure everything will work out just the way it's supposed to."

At that, a chill rose in the air.

"They're here." I whispered.

I stood up straight and looked up towards the sky.

Two figures were flying in with snow clouds behind them.

Niall, Liam, Louis, Harry, and I were standing out in the open, ready to brace ourselves.

Everyone else was hiding and would start fighting once the code word was said.

The two figures lowered to the ground. I recognized both immediately.

"Ah, if it isn't One Direction. I'm glad you came here, you know, to be destroyed." Winter smirked and crossed her arms.

All she was wearing was a short, strapless, black dress made out of some flowy material and had a tight bodice.

Next to her, Autumn was wearing a long, strapless, deep blue dress with a sequined bodice, and her hair in a braid.

She looked very beautiful but,

something didn't seem right about her.

She looked at the boys and I in anger.

It looked as if she wanted to kill us.

"Zara, which one would you like the first shot at?" Winter asked Autumn.

Zara?

Ok something weird is definitely going on.

Autumn pointed directly at me with a devious smile on her face. "I choose pretty boy here."

My eyes widened in shock.

Did I hear her right?

"Go ahead then. Shoot." Winter said, coaxing Autumn, er Zara, to hurt me.

Autumn started to form some sort of energy orb in her hands.

She can control black magic too?

I closed my eyes just as she was about to shoot it at me.

I waited for the horrible impact of it.

But it never came.

I opened my eyes to see that Liam had jumped in front of me right in the knick of time.

I kneeled down next to him and shook him a bit.

"Liam?! You alright?!" I asked worriedly.

He groaned and sat up with his head in his hands.

I think she drained his energy.

"ZUCCHINI!" Niall yelled the code word for 'everyone get out here now!' and everyone came running from behind Winter and Autumn.

I stood up as well just to be knocked down again by some ice beam.

I got over the cold and flamed up.

I haven't even begun to fight.
