As you were sitting, daydreaming, after you have finished your English test (which was easy), you thought you saw a cream-coloured cat with a dark brown face, ears, paws and chest. You remembered that the cat was a Himalayan spotted cat, Karupin.

You were almost definitely sure that Echizen Ryoma, your seatmate, was Karupin's owner. So you poked him on the cheek while he was sleeping. Poke. Poke. "What?" He groggily asked. He rubbed his eyes and yawned several times while I pointed at the window, at Karupin.

After he had registered my message into his sleepy brain, he stood up suddenly and stared at the window. The teacher looked at him and asked him if something was wrong before checking his test paper and asking him to finish the last question on the sheet. "Seriously? Last question?" Most of our classmates asked.

Echizen excused himself and ran over outside, but by the time he reached the tree which Karupin was at, Karupin was gone. He groaned and went off to search for Karupin at the other parts of the Seigaku building. By the lunch bell, he still had not returned from his search for Karupin. You were getting increasingly worried about him. When you saw him looking around the hallways, you asked him to stop his little search and go continue his lessons, but he did not listen. He loves his cat, you realised. You, as a dog owner, knew that losing a pet was a very very depressing experience, and most people obviously did not want to experience it.

Even though Echizen had been searching high and low for Karupin, he was not the one who found him and brought him to his home. It was you. When you knocked on his door, a side of Echizen Ryoma who you have never seen before, opened the door. His eyes were red and puffy, and it was evident that he had been crying.

You felt your heart soften at the sight of this worried, panic-stricken Echizen, and you unzipped your jacket. A certain Himalayan spotted cat peeked through, and Echizen smiled. "YOU FOUND HIM! OH MY GOD I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT HIM! THANK YOU SO MUCH (L/N)!"

You smiled at this cat-owner reunion, and you excused yourself. You felt a hand tug at your shoulder, and you turned your head to see Echizen there, smiling and he told you that as a reward of finding Karupin, he would be your friend forever and you said that you would like that.

"(Y/N)! Who knew that the Himalayas where Karupin came from could be so beautiful!" Your newly wedded husband, Echizen Ryoma, commented on your honeymoon.
