Shiraishi Kuranosuke-Poison

1st person POV

"Kin-chan, do you want to die?" Shiraishi asked Kintarō Tooyama, the troublemaker of the Shitenhōji Tennis club, while pretending to pull off his bandages on his left arm.

"No! No, please! I read it in a manga, and..." My mind wandered off as he explained what exactly he read in the manga. I chuckled, as I knew what was under the bandages.

It wasn't poison, nor poison claws. It was gold. Gold is at least 3 times heavier than lead or iron, which must need a lot of strength for Shiraishi to hold up for 3 years straight with just one arm. He is the Shitenhōji captain for a reason, and he is the only person who has been a captain for two years, since his sophomore year.

I sighed, and left.

The next day, I saw Shiraishi running around campus, looking very tired and disheveled. "Shiraishi-senpai, is there something wrong?" I asked.

"Where's Gabriel. Where's Gabriel." He repeatedly muttered.

"Who's Gabriel? Your girlfriend?" I asked, oblivious.

"She's my rhinoceros beetle. She's lost. Help me."

"... Osamu-chan!" I yelled as I saw the tennis coach walking towards us.

"Yes, (L/N)-chan?" He asked.

"Shiraishi-senpai's rhinoceros beetle is lost."

"Why don't you help him find it?"

"Because I don't know what a rhinoceros beetle is!!"

"Oh." Osamu-chan showed me a picture of a rhinoceros beetle and shooed me and Shiraishi-kun off to look for Gabriel.

Oh, when I get my hands on that coach.. I was snapped out of my thoughts when he tapped my shoulder, telling me to stay quiet. He pointed at a brown thing on the floor and he went to pick it up.

"Ah, Ecstasy! Gabriel is back!" He said.

"I'll excuse myself while you guys continue your love story."

"No, wait. (L/N)-chan, I want to ask for your number please.. thanks for helping me find her."

"No problem, Shiraishi-senpai.."

"Can I have your number now?"

"Oh, sure."

I gave him my number. I then saw a single text message from him.

Wanna go out with me?
I mean like it's okay if u
Don't want to..

Sure! Time and place?

Shiraishi
(Insert place and time), okay?

Okay!!

The next day, Shiraishi and I went on our first date together. He brought me to a botanical garden, it was so fun! He showed me so many different flower types, and now my knowledge of plants is wider!! I thanked him, and he offered to walk me home.
