Doll {Completed}

Chapter 6

(TAEHYUNG)

I closed my laptop as I tried to search on how the doll I created turned into a human. I'm not a wizard or anything and yet Lisa is alive. All the results that would pop out is either someone wished on a falling star or had magic powers and I never did any of those or had any of those. Even though I wanted to.

"How could it be?" I whispered and if I were to ask Lisa I'm sure she doesn't know either based on her reactions earlier.

But wait, falling star could be possible. But I never believed in those ridiculous stories. I searched everything that happened on the night in March 27, four years ago. The date when I made Lisa. It was indeed there, a meteor shower.

"Please make my daughter happy. Look after her when her own mother can't"

I sighed, it is possible and it already happened. Lisa turned into a human because of me. I closed the laptop again and headed downstairs. When I got down, I saw Lisa mopping the floor.

"Aren't you tired or hungry? You've been doing that almost half of the day and I haven't seen you eating" I said and she just smiled at me.

"I don't feel any of those. I'm still a toy, being hungry or tired is not in my dictionary" she answered and I rolled me eyes.

"Then I'll buy you a new dictionary. Come on you need to rest" I said and walked to her.

I stole the mop from her hand and dragged her to the kitchen.

"Wait! I'm not done cleaning yet. You would get sick if the house is dirty and I promised Taelie to take care of you" she tried to stop me but I pulled out a chair for her.

"I also promised her to take care of you, so sit down" I ordered and she immediately sat down.

"Good girl" I smiled and pat her head.

"Now, what do you want to eat?" I asked her and she shrugged her shoulders.

"I never ate, Taehyung. I never tried it" she answered and I bit my bottom lip while thinking.

"You never ate with Taelie before?" I asked and she shook her head as a sign of no.

"I only turn human every night when she wants cuddles and stories" she answered and I felt a pang of pain.

I couldn't do any of those things for her and it hurts. Taehyung, you wished for Lisa to do that for you because you know, in yourself that you couldn't!

"I'm sorry Lisa, but I think it's my fault you turned into a human" I said and her eyes looked interested.

"I kind of wished, for you.... "

"I know. I heard you" she cut me off.

I looked at her seriously and she just smiled.

"You wanted me, to take care of Taelie when her own mother can't. I know it all" she added and I sighed in relief.

Good thing she's not mad.

"So, what do you want to try to eat first?" I asked her and she looked up as if she's thinking.

"You know, that golden brown round things that Taelie likes to eat with whipped cream and chocolate? I think it was pan-pan- something?" She asked and I immediately got what she wanted.

"Okay, just wait for a minute" I said and started to make pancakes.

I grabbed all the ingredients from the fridge and cabinet and started cooking. I suddenly felt excited to see Lisa eat for the first time and I don't know why, it felt like before when I first watched Taelie eat her food. I cooked the pancakes with seriousness and tried my best not to burn it, I'm not a really good cook anyway.

After I'm finished with the pancakes, I dashed off to the fridge and grabbed the whipped cream and the chocolate syrup. It sure does feel nostalgic doing this once again. I spread the syrup on top of the pancakes followed by the whipped cream.

"Here, have a taste!" I said after placing the plate of pancakes in front of her.

"Taehyung you really don't have to do this. I won't be able to taste things anyway. I have a plastic tongue remember?" She asked but I just clicked my tongue.

"It won't hurt if you try, come on" I encouraged her and she sighed before grabbing the fork.

She looked confused for a bit and I looked at her with worries. Is there something wrong?

"Uhm, Taehyung. How do you use this?" She asked and raised the fork.

I stopped myself from laughing because of how adorable she looks. She cooked with a cook book but is still unable to know the functions of the fork.

"Here, I'll feed you" I said and grabbed the fork from her.

I took a portion from the pancake and placed it near her lips.

"Come on, say Aaahh" I said and she tilted her head to side for a bit but still opened her mouth.

"Ahh?" I quickly placed the pancake in her mouth.

She looked taken aback but later glared at me. I just gave her a peace sign and signaled her to start munching. She followed what I said and then swallowed whatevers in her mouth.

"So?" I asked.

"Well, I tasted a bit of something. But the numbness is still there" she answered and I smiled.

"That's good to hear. It's as if your slowly turning into a human" I said and she suddenly frozed.

Did I said something wrong?

"Lisa?" I called her and she blinked her eyes before looking at me.

"If only I can turn into a human" she sighed and I just watched her staring in the air.

She wanted to be a human?

"If only I were human, I could've saved Taelie" she said and tears fell on her face again.

I walked beside her and wipes her tears. I held her face to make her look at me.

"It's not your fault Lisa. It was all an accident, don't blame yourself" I said and wiped her tears.

I had the urge to hug her and so I did. I just suddenly wanted to hug her. Her tears are simply, making my heart ache, and I don't know why. I caressed her back, trying to make her calm down from crying. As much as I was hurt about Taelie's death, Lisa who became her second mother is also hurting. When she calmed down, she wiped her tears and smiled.

"By the way Taehyung. Don't you have any work?" She asked and I just smiled at her.

"I'm the Boss. I can work whenever I want, and right now, I just want to get to know you better" I said and I could see a faint blush on her cheeks.

"Have I ordered the artists to make your cheeks more pinker?" I asked and she shooked her head.

"It's like that always, and it feels weird" she answered and I just nodded my head.

I was about to say something when I heard a car pulled over outside the house. I quickly peeked at the window and saw the two idiots. And when I say two idiots, I meant Jungkook and Jimin.

"Lisa, can you hide for a moment? My friends are here" I said in panic.

"Who? Uncle Jungkook and Uncle Jimin?" She asked and I looked at her confused.

"Uncle what?"

"Uncle Jungkook and Uncle Jimin, that's how Taelie call them" she answered innocently.

I was about to say something when the doorbell rung.

"Just hide for a moment okay?" I asked her and she just nodded.

I immediately walked to the door and opened it, to see the two of them with plastics of soju in their hand. I looked back inside and saw Lisa in her cabinet, in her doll form.

I'm sorry, I'll let you meet them soon. But not now....
