Chapter 21

Lately, Taehyung looked so weak and sad. Is it because of me? Is it because of the result of the blood test Jin did to me?

How I found out is because of Jisoo unnie. I forced her to ask Jin and tell me the results and when I heard about it, I was disappointed, especially with myself. That's why I asked him that night,

"What if I won't become a human like we expected?"

His answer relieves me but I know he's disappointed and sad. If only there's one thing I could do to make him happy.

"Hey! You monster, get out of the house right now!"

I was out of my trance when I heard someone shouting outside of the house, who could it be?

I quickly run towards the front door and saw the guard holding Joohyun who looked mad and was shouting at him.

"I told you, I'm the real Mrs. Kim here and not that plastic monster inside your house!" I raised my eyebrow when she said that.

So she knows.....

"What do you want Joohyun? It's still early in the morning and you had the decency to start a scandal here?" I asked and signaled the guard to leave us alone.

"So if it isn't little dolly. What if I burn you, will you melt?" She asked and circled around me.

"If you're just here to threaten me about burning me, I'm afraid I may have to ask you to leave before I order the guard to drag you away" I tried to say in a cold voice and she just laughed.

"Oh dear, that's not the only thing I would do. I'm here, to claim what's rightfully mine. This house, my daughter's remnants, and my husband" Joohyun said and smirked.

"What gives you the right to claim what you have already left? You hurt them by running away with some guy, are you really that desperate of love and that Taehyung's not enough for you?" I asked, starting to get mad.

"Whatever you say Lisa, I'm still the mother of Taehyung's child. I gave him a daughter, how about you? What can you give him?" She asked back and I walked towards her.

"I gave him, and Taelie a family which you can never give because of your issues. Yes, I can't give him a child because I'm not human, but I can give him love which you deprived him and Taelie all those years" I answered her with confidence.

"That doesn't matter now because I'm back. He'll come to me and I'm sure he'll leave you and throw you away just like any other toy once he gets tired of you" I went silent when she said that and she smirked.

After that, she left me dumbfounded and hurt. She's right, there'll be a possibility that Taehyung will leave me and throw me away, especially now that I'm not human and I can't give him what Joohyun can. All I can give him is love and I know, Joohyun can give him that too.

I have no match for her, she's Taelie's mother, Taehyung's ex wife who he loved before and it's possible that he'll love her again.

Thinking all of those things pains me and I just let my tears fell together with the realisations that whatever I do,

I'm not good enough for Taehyung.
