Chapter 8

(TAEHYUNG)

"Can I come with you Tae? Please?" I sighed as Lisa asked me that for the nth time already.

"You can't Lisa. I already told you" I calmly said and she just pouted at me.

"Don't give me that look Lisa" I warned and she just made her eyes sparkle more.

"Fine. But just for this day okay?" I said in defeat and she squealed.

"Thank you Taehyung. I'll be a good girl I promise" she smiled and was about to hug me but I stopped her in time.

Even though I wanted her to hug me-- Taehyung what are you thinking?!

"Let's go, I'm going to be late" I cleared my throat and dragged her to my car.

I quickly run to the passenger seat and opened the door for her.

"I thought I'll be sitting at the back?" She asked and I raised an eyebrow at her.

"What am I your driver? Sit here beside me" I said and she obliged.

Lisa run towards me and I let her settle on her seat first before running towards the other side and quickly entered the car. I put the seat belt on and took a small glance at Lisa who seemed to be very excited.

"You really thought about this do you?" I asked and she nodded her head frantically.

"Well then let's go!" I exclaimed and drove my way to the company.

Throughout the whole ride, Lisa was fidgeting with her hands, she looked excited, but I could see a hint of worry in her eyes.

"Something bothering you Lis?" I asked and she looked at me.

"Uhmm... Tae, do you happen to know--.. Never mind" she shrugged and looked down on her lap.

"You can tell me anything Lisa. I'm your friend, you can trust me" I assured her and she looked at me again.

"Friend? You're my friend?" She asked and I chuckled.

"Of course. Taelie's friends are also my friend and, I created you and as your Creator, you can trust me" I sincerely said and she sighed.

"Do you know anyone with the name Chittaphon?" She asked and I looked at her curiously.

"Why? Have you met him?" I asked and she shook her head.

"It just suddenly entered my head last night. But it's okay if you don't know him, we're the same" she said and smiled weakly.

I just peaked at her while driving and just let her be. Maybe she's confused right now. I kept on driving untile we arrived at the company. We both entered the building and I could see my employees eyes on us.

"She's so  pretty, is she the Boss's girlfriend?"

"She looks unreal don't you think?"

"So unfair! I thought I'm finally going to be close with the Boss"

"What would his former wife say when she finds out about this?"

I ignored all of their comments and headed straight to my personal elevator. I waited for Lisa to follow me but she stopped midway when she was about to enter.

"Lisa? Aren't you coming?" I asked and she smiled.

"Wait for a second" she whispered and looked at everyone who's gawking at us.

"Hi everyone! I'm Lisa by the way! And I'm Taehyung's friend! So please don't mention his ex wife because it will hurt him understand?!" I just face palmed myself at what she was saying.
