Chapter 8

A few weeks later - Storm's POV

"Training?" I ask for the first time in forever with enthusiasm.

"Wow, she's finally excited about something." Macou says to Wakaba.

"You have 3 months to train for the Grand Magic Games." Gramps says to us.

I fall. "Not another test!" I cry and everyone laughs as I sulk.

"We are going to become number 1 again." Gramps says to us.

I groan. "I thought this was just a training trip to get stronger, why?" I ask sulking. "I should have known, it was too good to be true." I say and I get up. "Well, see ya, I'll be somewhere." I say and Gramps nods.

I grab my bag and I head out of the guild and to a great place to train, in the woods, far away, so I don't destroy the city.

I summon Jasper and he grins.

"Alright Jasper, we're doing training today, I'll be using my shadow magic, hit me with everything you got so I can counter." I say to him as I toss my bag aside.

"Awesome!" He barks grinning and we get to work on training.

3 Months Later

"Awesome! Thanks Jasper." I say to him and he licks my face.

"Anything for the Alpha!" He says to me grinning and poofs away.

I grab my bag and I head to the guild where Laxus is just walking in.

I walk in behind him and I put my hands in the pockets of my black jean shorts.

"Well then, everyone is here." Gramps says to us and I look around, not seeing Gray, Lucy, Wendy, Carla, Happy, Erza or Natsu. "The first team is of Gray, Lucy, Wendy, Erza and Natsu, there will be a second team, consisting of, Laxus, Mirajane, Gajeel, Mystogan, and Juvia. Storm, you'll be the first in for this team if anything were to happen to one of the members." Gramps says to me.

I look at the Mystogan guy as he walks in and I shrug. "Whatever." I say and we get on the train to Crocus.

I head towards the commotion and I see Natsu and Happy looking at Sting, Rouge, Lector and Frosch.

"Natsu, shouldn't you be busy exploring the city?" I ask him.

"Storm!" Lucy and Natsu say shocked.

I give them a closed eyed smile with a wave. "The one and only, of course, I'm dead beat tired after those three months of training, so, if we could hurry this process up, Gramps is busy signing you guys in and will want to speak with you once he's done." I say to them.

"OH RIGHT!" Natsu yells getting up and grinning at me. "Storm! Your a genius, blast those guys with your Jutsu." Natsu says to me and I deadpan.

"How about no." I say as I flick him in the forehead sending him out of the crowd rolling. "Natsu, can't you behave?" I ask him.

"Just a flick of her finger." Sting says shocked.

"Did anyone get hurt?" I ask the people around us.

"No, we're fine." The crowd says worried for their lives.

"That's good, now, move along, nothing to see, you all have to get busy for getting ready for the games." I say and the people leave muttering words about me. I look at the twin slayers and their Exceeds. "That means you guys as well." I say and I head to the hotel and to the room we reserves are staying in and I shower and change and fall asleep.

A while later I wake to find a guy with very good looks, looking at me from above.

My eye twitches and I punch him out the balcony with his friends.
