The Next Night - Storm's POV

'Storm, how are you feeling now with your wrist?' Light asks me concerned.

I sit in front of her as I flex my wrist a few times. "Its fine now, thanks Light." I say to her with a grateful smile.

'Its no problem.' Light says and hugs me and I smile warmly.

'Yeah, yeah.' Abyss mocks us and I frown as I look at him.

"You want a hug?" I ask him as I open my arms to him and he looks at me shocked.

'She's being kind.' Karma says nudging him.

Abyss clears his throat. 'No.' Abyss says curtly and turns around.

I drop my arms pouting and I get up. "Abyss, hug me." I say holding my arms open.

He looks at me with annoyance then sees me pouting and he sighs in defeat and opens his arms and I grin gleefully and I run over and I jump in his arms with my arms around his neck.

"Yay!" I cheer and he chuckles amused as he hugs me.

'Don't spoil her attitude Abyss.' Karma warns him.

'He won't.' Light says to her as Light places her hand Karma's shoulder.

Abyss scowls at them as they try to join us but he hugs me closer while I just grin happily.

'Ok, ok, that's enough.' Karma says getting jealous.

I laugh as I jump down.

'Why are you in such high spirits anyways?' Karma asks me as I smile.

"I'm just in a good mood." I say shrugging as I put my hands in my pockets.

'Guys do you think?' Light asks getting giddy.

'No.' Abyss says coldly.

'Totally.' Karma says nodding and I tilt my head confused.

'She has a crush.' Light says grinning and I deadpan.

"Nuh uh. Well, my cue to leave now, sayonara." I say and I wake up.

'Your avoiding it.' Karma says in my head.

I snort and I walk to my bathroom and I shower.

"Storm, why are you awake?" Shikamaru yawns as I walk to the kitchen at 5 something in the morning.

"Karma and Light were about to start asking questions and I'm avoiding the problem." I say and Shikamaru nods knowing about the three personalities I have in my head that keep me company while I sleep.

I look through the cupboards and I find something to make finally after 5 minutes of looking.

"I need to go shopping today." I mutter and Shikamaru nods.

I make us breakfast and he looks at it shocked.

"How did you get good? You had no motivation to learn." Shikamaru says to me.

I smirk as I lean on the counter with my food in front of me. "Mira, Yajima, and I was living by myself again in a place that doesn't know the meaning of frozen dinners." I say to him and Shikamaru nods.

"Who is Yajima?" Shikamaru asks me.

"From what I gathered he used to be part of the old Magic Council, he is Gramps friend from when they were kids to teens to adults to now. He is the owner of 8Island, speaking of, I think he's gonna open another one somewhere her around Magnolia." I say to Shikamaru nods.
