Bad days

So I didn't go to university today, but that's not news right? I skip university every chance I could. Yes I have made some friends and all, but tbh they are not that lit. Same goes for my University. It not as lit as my a level. People don't cuss ( not much anyway), no fashion sense, no dark humor, they don't get most of my jokes, they think wtf is a curse ; which let's be honest, its not.
So basically i am in a cultural shock. I mean they are lit in their own way, but their lit frequency doesn't match my lit frequency? You feel me?
They don't even read! For heaven's sake!
The cafe food is crap and there is no drama. Purely students who love education and cramming urgh. There goes my GPA.

So well, what I've tried to get me through those *I dont wanna go to university* and *I want my old life back* days is:
1.  Install apps to get you through bored times. I recommend apps that you used during the *good times*. Times you wanna bring back. So I installed wattpad, pinterest, snapchat (I deleted it back in the starting of 2018) but I realize that snaps were a great way to remain connected. I mean you can snap and send. Ta daa. That way you can send like mini replay of your entire day. Every thing worth showing to your besties.
2. Make a to-do list. 5 things are okay. Small tasks. That can be watering the plants, watching a documentary, cleaning your room, doing laundry, folding your clothes, revising, etc etc. That way you'll always have something to do, and you won't be left with extra time to feel sorry for yourself.
3. Okay there's an app, its called fabulous. Please install it. Its reallllyyyyy good for everything.
4. Log your time. It'll give you a sense of direction.
5. Stay ahead of everyone else. If you are gonna be miserable, might as well be miserable with a good GPA. And who knows, maybe accomplishing something might make you feel better about your university/ school/ whatever.
6. Exersise/ walk. Well that's pretty much self explanatory.
7. Read, I cannot stress this enough. Sometimes when I am feeling nostalgic about a particular time, i re-read the books I read during that time. Works for me.
8. Consider this as a new beginning. Buy new clothes, get a new haircut, go wild, go sober, you can aquire a new self, transform without anyone questioning. Currently I am an outgoing, extrovert personality, that loves to dress up. Anyone who knows me will be laughing their asses off. But here, nobody knows.
9. When you are feeling particularly bad about your situation, try that "5 things you are grateful for" game. Not a game. An activity perhaps.
10. Cook. Nothing beats a home cooked meal when you are feeling particularly miserable about your life. Also the time you invest in cooking will also take your mind off things temporarily.

Last but not the least, realize that we all feel stuck, at one time or the other. You can either drown in the wave or ride it. So whatever your circumstances try to adapt. A little, at a time.

Although that's pretty rich coming from someone that always skips university to go back to that normalcy, but whatever. These methods do work.

Anyway, I got a quiz to prepare.
Till next time! xoxo
