Intro

- 10.45 a.m. -
[Class 3-3, Third Floor, Euphoria High School]

Kang Younghyun stared down at the paper on his table with the heading of 'New Club Application Form'. There were blank space that needed to be fill up; name of the club, the purpose of the club, president, vice-president, treasurer, manager and faculty advisor. He managed to took the form earlier before first class started in the morning.

"Faculty advisor? Is there anyone that would be any help?" Younghyun propped his hand on the table and rested his chin on his palm. His other hand, gripping on his pen as he swirled it in a circular motion.

Kim Seokjin or mostly known as Jin, his seatmate glanced over Younghyun's shoulder to take a look of the paper. He raised his eyebrows in interest,

"Oh, are you planning on opening your own club for our final year?"

Younghyun still in the same position, nodding his head lazily. Jin chuckled as Younghyun's behavior amused him, "That's good! You won't be ruining any of my dishes in the cooking club anymore."

"What do you mean? I just want to eat and you know that," the boy raised his head and crossed his arms, "Rather than talking about me, it would be nice if you could help me find a suitable faculty advisor."

Jin grabbed the paper and scanned through it. Frown appeared on his forehead as he tries to recall all the school's staff. His eyes wandered across the classroom and he saw the piles of book at the corner of the class, mostly business related books.

"How about Mr. Choi? Mr Choi Siwon?" Jin suggested with a smile.

"Our economic teacher?"

"Sure but only when you have at least 4 members in the club. Less than that, you can say goodbye to your club," Mr. Choi said monotonously, seems like he's having a hard day due to the contrast in his behavior. He is that friendly and goofy type of teacher and quite popular amongst the students.

Younghyun and Jin changes look to each other before bowing to the older man, "Thank you, Mr. Choi."

As they went out from the faculty staffroom, Younghyun turned to the guy next to him and pleaded, "Jin, join my club as the second member."

Due to the suddenness, Jin's eyes widen as he backed away, "Are you out of your mind? I have a club of my own already and to add that, I'm the president of the cooking club. Did you forget?"

"Sorry."

Younghyun sighed in defeat and began to make his way to his locker. Leaving Jin trailing after him with amusement.

"I know you miss being in the swim club, still I can't help you. But.. I could help you find some members."

With that, Younghyun turned around with a wide smile upon hearing Jin's offer.

"You know what, it's funny that we got held back in high school because we somewhat failed our exams more than once. I got to admit that I feel embarrassed when others managed to enrolled in some good universities, while both of us are still here and we're around what twenties."

Younghyun shrugged to Jin's words before he pulled Jin to the cafeteria.

- Few days later -

"I guess that's good enough."

Younghyun backed away from the wall as he sighed in satisfaction. He have around 10 more rolls of poster left in his arms though it's nothing compared to the amount of posters he put up in the very same area or somewhat seems to be arranged closely together.

He turned around and saw other club's doing their respective activities. With a smile, he took a glance at the handmade poster he came up after fighting with his little cousin over some crayons.

"Once again, the water will come alive," Younghyun sprint away, heading to the main gate as the familiar bell rang across the school, signifying that school's over for the day. Forgetting his bag that he left in the classroom.

hi! since it was a bit messy and a bit packed for the first chapter, i've decided to upload this new chapter to separate the intro and the rules :)

and it was Jin's birthday yesterday so why not include him in the intro right 🌚🌚🌚😂

Younghyun's character wouldn't appear much in the applyfic since he'll most likely be that busy boy, so don't get worry about him (or literally me) taking all the screentime because i won't 😂😂

and i'm sorry that Younghyun and Jin's character are a bit tooo old to be in high school but i need a starter of the story :") i might change it in the future. i also feel bad since both of them are quite good especially that they had graduated in real life 😂
