@&@&#**@!?

Karim felt like crying.

Heart Attack.....

Only those words were put on replay in Karim's mind. It was like he could no longer function.

It was because of him that his Mother was on the verge of dying.

Fear crept back into his mind. It was as if Fear was the only emotion he could feel these days.

"Karim??" Hakeem said, whilst clicking his fingers to get Karim's attention. But instead the kitten, now awake, sat up, and blinked many times.

Karim couldn't move, not even an inch. Hakeem was furiously trying to shake Karim, to make him snap out of his gaze. He was glued to the spot.

"KARRRRIIIIMMMMM!!!" Hakeem yelled, scaring the kitten and yet again, scratching Karim.

Karim hissed- feeling the pain.

Luckily, he snapped out of his trance, and said, "Yeah?"

Hakeem stared at his brother, then his eyes turned black.  Hakeem growled, and Karim gulped. He was so confused.

"Yeah? You have the nerve to say Yeah?

HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY SAY THAT WHEN YOUR OWN MOTHER IS IN HOSPITAL, POSSIBLY DYING?!?

YOUR OWN MOTHER, KARIM!!

IT'S YOUR FAULT. ALL YOUR FAULT!!"

Hakeem shouted, which made Karim and the kitten scared. The kitten hissed once more, but it jumped out of Karim's hands and hid behind the tree.

Karim didn't do anything. He was glued to his spot, again. He was the one who was staring at Hakeem. Once more, his heart could be heard from his ears.

"I'm sorry." Karim's voice was hardly audible, and Hakeem had to strain to hear him.

"Sorry? Eh? Who you sorry for Karim..?" Hakeem spoke softly, nit like before... His breathing had recovered, but now Karim stayed calm, as if not registering what Hakeem said.

Karim finally said, "I want to see her."

Hakeem hesitantly nodded, as if not expecting what was going to happen when Karim found out.

Found out that their mother had either lay on her death bed- or was a long way away from dying.

_@Hospital_

Karim and Hakeem walked side by side, none of them uttering a word. The eerie silence filled the air. It was unbearable for Karim, but he knew he had to keep quiet.

He was visiting his mother.

Both brothers turned a corner and walked to the third door.

Hakeem knocked on it gently, before hearing murmurs on the other side.

It became into shuffling, then a shot.

A Gun-Shot to be Precise.
