Hakeem shoved the door open and with wide eyes, approached his now dead mother.

He saw the blood goozing out of her left side.
The heart.

Hakeem fell on his knees and begged his mother to at least say a word.
Nothing.

Karim saw a hooded figure- he noticed the scar on his left eye. The Unknown person was too fast for Karim to see his face, but for Karim. That was enough.

Karim snapped his head up, blury eyed and trying to speak, but couldn't. His mouth was a statue.   He looked at the open window, then to Hakeem, then to his mother.

Because of me, this all happened?
Because of me, I had to get into that stupid argument?
Because of me, I had to face my mother's death?
Because of me, I had to slap her?
Because of me, I caused my mother's death?

Karim's head was swarming with all these questions.

His heart began to thud. As loud as lightening.

He needed to clear his mind. It was all too much.

Just then, both of them could hear the slight sounds of their mum.

"Hakeem...... Karim....?" She questioned the two brothers and in a flash, Karim was on the other side of her, holding her hands.

Hakeem was now sobbing, crying for her to be strong and never let go.

It was nice momment that Karim would cherish. He also begged his mum to stay alive. He didn't mean for this to happen.

But, their mother snatched her hand away from Karim's soft touch, and placed it on Hakeem.

Karim, looked shocked and confused. But deep down he was hurt.
But not as much mum was hurt...

Karim slowly stood up. His legs were jelly. His head hurt like hell.

"Tell...." His mother pointed at Karim who was now crying silently.

"To...Leave."

Karim gasped- he didn't want to hear anything else.

He shut everything down.

You see. This is why Karim didn't Trust Allah anymore.

He does something that he regrets then, he ends up with Bad Luck.

But This Is A Test From Allah.

Hakeem gasped, whilst their mother looked emotionless. Just some meaningless tears caught up in her eyes. She looked the other way, but Karim ran.

His legs hurt, though he didn't care. Karim furiously wiped his tears. He didn't care now. About anything.

He hoped that his mother forgave him for his actions. He hoped that he would get a Second Chance.
Hope

He needed hope. Without that he thought nothing could be possible.

When actually he needed FAITH.

Faith was all he needed.

The determination was long gone. It was not needed now that Karim wanted to go back to his old self.

Huh? Faith? Yeah right. Why doesn't Allah give me some Miracle if He's that Almighty.

He ran. Ran away from everything. Though what he couldn't believe that this all happened in nearly one day.

Only a few hours left till Sunrise happened. And only now five days left till Ramadan Started.

Karim stopped abruptly. Struggling to catch his breath. He saw a Masjid (Mosque) nearby and thought of going there. He didn't know why. He thought it was because something was telling him. Something deep.

He walked, not realising how his breathing had calmed.

He took off his shoes- remembering what happened last time. He wasn't going to make the same mistakes again.

After entering the Masjid, he saw only a few people. Men.
What if I accidentally stepped into the Woman's section. That'd be embarrassing.  Karim thought, then laughed at how funny that sounded.

He looked around. It was so beautiful and Peaceful. But he wondered why people might come at this time...

Again with the questions. He was getting frustrated, so he thought of seeing the Imaam.

He saw a man, wearing traditional clothes. He didn't know the name. Also he was wearing a hat. Is that the Imaam? Karim thought, then frowned at how many questions could be stored in his head.

Someone tapped Karim on the shoulder. Startled, Karim turned around to see his best friend.

"Sheikh?" Karim asked, hope gleaming in his eyes.

"Karim!" Karim and Sheikh man hugged and then someone else tapped Karim on the knee.

Confused, Karim looked down and saw a younger version of Sheikh. He widened his eyes.

"Son Or Brother?" Sheikh smirked and then said,

"No. Dummy he's my Bro."

"Oh." Karim turned pink, knowing how dumb that must've sounded.

"So, What you doing here? At this time as well?" Sheikh said, picking up Zaki.

Zaki was only five. He's so cute. Karim thought, smiling at the two brothers.

"Umm... Well, I just wanted to see the Imaam.." Karim answered truthfully, looking down.

"Well, mate you can ask me..." Karim looked up and in Sheikh's eyes were Hope, Faith and Happiness. Karim wanted all those to show whenever he spoke.

Now he just felt miserable.

"Err.. Okay." Karim thought about the question. His mind was blank. He forgot the question.

"You forgot??" Sheikh asked, laughing.

"Yeah...." Karim smiled- although his smile wasn't genuine.

He wasn't ready to open everything that just happened.

"Well, I gotta go. Nice meating Ya."

Karim nodded and took one last look around the Masjid.

Karim excited the Masjid and walked away from the world. He was in his own little bubble.

Till it Burst.
