*Chapter 14*
Zaron
"I mean, if he doesn't care then I can go and waste my time at some better place," I heard Quentin's voice just after I returned to everyone.
I bit my lips and sighed. "Is that how you really think?" I looked at him with serious eyes.
"I guess that is the cue for us to leave," Jane mumbled as the rest followed her out while I approached Quentin to sit next to him.
"Is that really how you think of me?" He wasn't even paying a lot of attention to me. I gritted my teeth. "Look at me when I talk to you!" I demanded. He hesitantly shifted his gaze to me as I could finally and properly look at him.
"And what if it is like that?" He muttered. "Is it wrong to think like that?" He questioned more steady than before. His eyes were glistening which had a really beautiful touch in comparison with his eye color. But this was not the time for that as he had a hurt expression on his face.
"Come here," I motioned. He bit his lips and shifted closer to me until we were touching. "Right now, it's a bit difficult to take care about everything at once," I explained and put my arm around him to comfort him. "I didn't purposely neglect you. Please understand."
"I do understand," his eyes that were facing the floor looked back up to me. "But you should have at least texted me back and told me. But still, shouldn't I be your top priority?"
This time it was me to drop my gaze since he was somewhere right, but I directly looked back up once I saw him standing up and straddling me. "What-?"
"Now make it up to me!" He demanded with crossed arms before I could finish my words. I was too perplexed to react at his sudden change of character. "What are you waiting for?" he frowned, causing me to snap back to reality.
"What do you want me to do?" I tilted my head in confusion. He sighed and got off of me.
"You are really useless," he rolled his eyes. "I'm leaving," he turned around and head for the door.
"Now wait, where are you going?" I stopped him and just before he could answer my question I picked him up, throwing him over my shoulder and headed over to my room.
"Let me down! Zarooooon, come on! What do you want from me?" I closed the door behind us and threw him on my bed. "So after you refused to respond to me, you don't want to let me go or what?" He said in a cocky tone and raised his eyebrows.
"Wasn't it you who said I should make it up?" I smirked and climbed over him that he was looking up to me.
But he just shook his head and chuckled. "That's not what I meant." I started kissing down his neck and sucked as my hands went roaming over his body. He moaned and giggled at the same time I nibbled on his skin. "What about apologizing first?" He suggested. I, in addition, squeezed his ass that made him let out a surprised shriek.
And then I stopped. "Apologizing? I'm surprised that this word exists in your vocabulary," I mocked.
"Are you calling me stupid?" He cocked his eyebrow. I nodded and chuckled as I caressed a strand of hair from his face. It was silent for a short second until a frown appeared on his face. "What?" He questioned referring to my smile. "Do I have something on my face? Seeing so much beauty that you got speechless or what?"
Even though he was joking, I still earnestly answered his question. "Actually yes. Eye-catching and overflowing charisma as ever. And on top of that, you've got the prettiest smile. I'm starting to get worried."
His cheeks left a pink blush behind after the words left my mouth and concurrently, he had a questioning look. "Why worried?"
"Because it's getting easier to get influenced by you. And how will your face be when I thrust myself in you. Just the mere thought drives me insane," I joked. Well just partially.
