"I'M BORED!!!"Leon's voice sounded as lazy as he looked, lounging on the couch with pillows surrounding him.
Nikki rocked back and forth on the floor next to Andrew's couch.
"Same."
Valentina and Stephanie looked up from playing with Andrew's hair.
"Should we do something then?" Matthew suggested. He was half slumped in a chair and looked like he was going to sleep at any moment.
They all looked at him and he shrugged. "Anywhere you guys wanna go?"
Valentina looked around and seeing as nobody had offered an idea, she raised her hand up.
Matthew lazily pointed at Valentina and she smiled. "Let's go to....Drum roll please."
Nikki shrugged and did a drum roll.
"The... Farm!!"
The group had a moment of silence before they comprehended what she said.
"WHAT?!" They all yelled in unison.
She nodded happily. " I like pigs and this might be a good experience. We can milk cows, feed the animals, and other stuff."
Leon shrugged. "It DOES sound fun....Should we try?"
"Hmmm..." Nikki thought it over for a moment before deciding.
"I'm down."
After seeing that Nikki, Leon, and Valentina would not let up anytime soon, the rest of the group decided to go to make sure that those three wouldn't end up accidentally blowing up the farm.
2 HOURS LATER:
Valentina burst out of the car and bolted to the figure standing a few yards away.
"Heya! I'm that woman that messaged you about visiting?"
The old farmer smiled and nodded. "It's nice to see fresh faces around here. It gets mighty lonely after a while."
The rest of the group caught up with Valentina and the old farmer, Mr. Hank.
"Mr.Hank, Where do we start?" Leon Leaned in closer. He had always wanted to ride on a tractor....
"Let's start by milkin' the cow."
"I have never milked before...?" Nikki looked at the pink-ish udders and the bucket where the milk was supposed to go.
Hank chuckled. " Don't hurt 'er. She doesn't kick. Much."
"WELL THAT'S REAL HELPFUL." Nikki lightly touched an udder. "Woahhhh...."
Stephanie facepalmed. "Just...Milk."
"I'm figuring it out okay?"
Slowly, Nikki wrapped her thumb and forefinger around a teat and lightly squeezed.
Milk flowed into the bucket.
"Woohoo!! I did it!!" Nikki looked at her friends.
"Now your turn..." She plopped Valentina down onto the stool.
Valentina gulped. How did Nikki do it again?
