Chapter Four: Great News

3 moons later

We were at the gathering when I saw Willowshine padding near a bush. She motioned her tail for me to come. I padded over and leapt into the bush. She looked at me excitedly and mewed "Im expecting kits!" I gasped then heard a yowl and licked her nose and sat with Ivypool, my best friend. She would do anything for me. I had to ask for her help. She then whispered to me "Im expecting kits, i have been for 1 moon now." I gasped so many kits! I replied "Congratulations!" Then I whispered more quietly "I have news too, i will tell you later." All was normal except Riverclan had a new medicine cat, Lilyflower. I was happy for my mates clan, and her apprentice. Then,when we started to leave, i pulled Ivypool and Willowshine back and said "Ivypool, this is Willowshine, my mate." Ivypool looked at me and said "Bumblestripe! The warrior code!" I replied "I know! We love each other! And she bears my kits..." Ivypool looked at me and said "How long?" Willowshine replied "One moon tomorrow." Ivypool replied "Same with me." I looked at her and said "Ivypool? Can you do us a huge favor? Could you watch feed our kits? I could say they're mine and a loners." Ivypool nodded and said "Only because were best friends."
