"Can I kiss you?"

Doyoung gulped. His mind was filled with racing thoughts, mostly bad.

Would this count as cheating? He didn't want to cheat... but then again the relationship between him and Johnny could barely be called a relationship anymore.

Why did Jaehyun want to kiss him in the first place? It would mean that he has feelings for the bunny, but that couldn't be it.
No one could ever love someone like him.

But he couldn't deny that he wanted to kiss the younger as well.

Jaehyun stared into the shorter's eyes. They looked unsure.

He could tell the other had a million thoughts and questions in his mind going 100 miles per minute, because his eyes darted around Jaehyun's face, never being able to look at one place for too long.

But Jaehyun waited patiently for his reply.

After a while, Doyoung made up his mind and nodded so lightly, Jaehyun would've missed it if he didn't observe the older's every move.

Being the first one to move, Jaehyun trained his hooded eyes on the bunny's lips again and leaned closer.

His movements were slow, as he thought that if he moved too fast, the other would change his mind last minute or get scared off.
And he didn't want that.

Their hears were racing faster than ever before as they could feel each other's warm breath on their lips.

Not being able to take the anticipation mixed with anxiety anymore, Doyoung grabbed Jaehyun by the collar and connected their lips, pleasantly surprising the younger.

It was sweet and innocent, the butterflies in their bodies going crazy.

It made Doyoung's mind go comfortingly blank.

No more bad thoughts.

Sparks of light went through their bodies as their lips moved. Jaehyun cupped the older's cheeks, savoring the lips' flavor, before finally pulling away.

When Jaehyun opened his eyes again, he couldn't help but let out a small laugh at the bunny's expression.

Doyoung's face was a bright shade of red and twisted into a dorky smile.

"You liked that, huh?"

Doyoung giggled. That was confirmation enough for Jaehyun, who pulled Doyoung into a hug.

Sadly, the bad thoughts came as suddenly as they left.

Jaehyun petted Doyoung's hair, still in the embrace.

"Wh-Why did you kiss m-me? There's no way anyone cou-could ever like me." Doyoung's voice was muffled because of the taller's sweater. He tightly clung onto it.

Jaehyun frowned and pulled Doyoung in front of him so he can face the bunny.

His eyes were as scared as before, as if the kiss never happened.

Jaehyun responded to the older's question by lifting his face up with his index finger and pecking his lips a second time before mumbling

"But I like you..."

Doyoung pulled his face away and faced the floor with red dusting his ears.

He couldn't look at Jaehyun right now.
Considering how fast his heart was beating at the moment, he would die from a heart attack.

Was he lying?

It didn't sound like he was, but how was that possible? No one ever liked him. Well, except for Johnny, maybe, but that was some time ago.

Doyoung wanted to tell the other that he felt the same, but it just felt wrong. He still had a boyfriend, who would be extremely furious.

He can't cheat. Who knows what Johnny would do to him.

So he kept quiet.

Jaehyun sighed "You're thinking about Johnny, aren't you?"

Doyoung was surprised, he guessed it right away. "How d-did you know?"

Jaehyun huffed with a sad smile "Just a lucky guess."

It was quite obvious that he was thinking of Johnny. Who wouldn't feel guilty if they just kissed someone who is not their lover?

Doyoung still had a question in his mind. Why was Jaehyun being so nice to him?

He must have some sort of reason, right?

"Jae-"

"Hey, we should go home. School ended already." Jaehyun stood up, interrupting Doyoung and reached out a hand to help him up from the bench.

Doyoung cautiously took the younger's hand and rose to his feet.

He'll ask some other time.

While walking back, neither of them spoke about anything that just happened.

It was killing Doyoung from the inside.

Why does he have to be such a coward?

Jaehyun sensed something was wrong. Sure, Doyoung has always been a fairly quiet person, but now he was dead silent. It worried him.

As an attempt to make the bunny feel better, he slid his big hand into the other's.

To his surprise, instead of retreating his hand like Jaehyun expected him to, Doyoung tightened his grip.

Double update!

This is kinda a bad ending for this chap lmao sorry... I realized I ended my chaps in a lot of cliffhangers lately and thought y'all deserved a break lol

What do you think about the kiss? I hope it wasn't too bad...

I just took a nap and my sense of time is completely gone. I thought it was 3 am on Wednesday or something but it's actually still 8 pm on Tuesday.
