Tick...

Tock...

Tick...

Tock...

Jaehyun sat on his couch, staring at his clock, watching the seconds roll past painfully slow.

His apartment was quiet, awfully quiet, yet for the boy sitting inside it seemed deafening. It was like the silence was screaming at him, his mind yelling at him for how badly he fucked up.

He watched the clock ticking away, mocking him for sitting around and not doing anything.

But the thing is, he couldn't. He just wished the hands of the clock would go the other way, turning back time so he could fix everything, or at least do something differently to avoid this outcome.

But how was he supposed to fix something when he doesn't even know how or why it broke in the first place?

He buried his face in his hands. He was so frustrated.

Just what did he do wrong?

He jumped slightly out of shock when he heard his phone emit a sound, signifying the he got a message.

Tae

> Hey babe! I'm in front of your apartment building rn.
Let's walk together!
> Love you 💕

Me

Sure. I'll be there in a sec. <

Jaehyun let out a deep sigh.

And another day begins.

Another day without him.

🌸🌸🌸

They walked to school together. The days were getting colder and colder, not to mention all the snow that has been falling over the past few days, sucking the color out of everything and making Jaehyun's world even more colorless than it already was.

Contrasting his lifeless demeanor was the boy next to him, Taeyong. The red haired male was smiling brightly while clinging onto the other's arm.

"I love you, Jaehyun!" Taeyong exclaimed out of nowhere, rubbing his head on Jaehyun's arm, obviously trying to act cute.

It took a lot for Jaehyun to resist the urge to roll his eyes and make Taeyong get off, but he was the one agreeing to give Taeyong a chance, so Jaehyun just let him do whatever he wanted.

It's not like he cared.

The only problem was that his plan kind of backfired. Instead of helping him forget a certain person, Taeyong just makes him remember even more.

All the affectionate things he did, Jaehyun wished that certain someone would do it to him too.

But no, he just had to mess everything up.

He's lost track of the days the bunny had been gone. They've all started to morph into a big blur of an absent Doyoung, and Jaehyun missed him more than he'd like to admit.

Not to mention, he was still extremely worried. Jaehyun knew that Doyoung had a tendency to hurt himself, and he just hoped it hasn't gone too far and the bunny's already gone without him realizing it.
