When They Comeback

Chapter 5

Jayden's POV

Yesterday was a pretty normal day a couple people went home sick but Luke and I pulled through. Well no one around us was sick so maybe we just got lucky. Whatever that doesn't even matter anymore because I just found out that I had gotten sick over night. What a joy! Note the sarcasm.

I can't stop thinking about the girl I had seen at the lockers yesterday. Why hadn't I seen her before? Was she new? Had she been going to my school since the beginning of the school year? Was I just that oblivious? Well I mean I know I'm already oblivious but is it that bad that I didn't realize a real life person? Whatever I'll see her tomorrow, hopefully, I mean I could still be sick tomorrow. Before I continued and fried my brain I texted Luke.

Hey Lukey I just wanted to tell you that I guess I'm not so lucky as to the fact that I got sick over night

Ugh really?!?!?!

IM SORRY IF I HAD A CHOICE TO GET SICK OR NOT I WOULDVE CHOSEN TO NOT GET SICK PLEASE DONT BE MAD AT ME ANYWAYS HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

After I put my phone down I just started to think about the strange girl from yesterday. Her style was cute from what I saw. It was simple but sort of punk at the same time. If you know what I mean. I liked it I wish she was in at least one of my classes so I could talk to her. Well I actually wouldn't talk to her I'm not trying tone mean it's just that I have social anxiety. It's not that bad for me but when I meet new people I get a defensive and I seem really mean but that's it I'm not mean.

Since I was sick I tried to take a nap because my mom wasn't home and I was just plain bored since I couldn't really talk to anyone. I probably had my eyes closed for an hour or two until I finally gave up and just walked downstairs.

I was hungry but I wasn't. OK I know that doesn't make sense but let me explain, I'm not hungry but I feel like if I eat something I'll feel at least a little bit better. That still probably doesn't make sense but oh well. I decided to just get a cookie dough Pop-tart. I ate one of the two Pop-tarts that were in the foil packet. (listen I know this sounds weird but we're still talking about Pop-tarts not condoms!!!) My little hypothesis was incorrect because I just ended up feeling even worse than I did before.

I threw the Pop-tart out and walked back upstairs. I went in YouTube and put on the video that I knew would help me sleep since eating didn't help I might as well try sleeping. I typed in 'FACE PAINTING: CHALLENGE JIM & ZOELLA' I honestly don't know why that video helps me fall asleep but it does. Well honestly anything that helps me fall asleep I do because I have insomnia which just means that I have trouble sleeping. I clicked on the video and it turned on then within thirty seconds of the video I started to feel my eyelids getting heavy and soon enough I couldn't keep them open and I fell asleep.

Dylan's POV

I've been at this school for one day already and I don't have friends. OK I'm being impatient but I don't like waiting I'm not really a patient person. I walked into school just really bored and tired and just wishing I could leave. I went to my locker and got the things I needed and went straight to class. There wasn't a lot of people in the classroom and there was about 5 minutes left of home room. This boy with a blonde fringe was sitting in the back of the room alone so I decided it couldn't hurt if I went over and talked yo him a little.

"Hey uhm I saw you were sitting alone so I just wanted to talk to you maybe introduce myself? I'm Dylan I'm new here actually yesterday was my first day." I said.

"Oh hi Dylan I'm Luke. I'm sorry but I didn't realize you yesterday, wow that sounds extremely rude. My best friend is in this class to her name in Jayden but she's sick I think you guys would like each other you're super similar." he replied.

"OK well I guess I shall meet her when she comes back. I hope she's not that sick and that she gets better soon." I said trying to sound nice.

"Yea I hope she's OK too. So do you have your schedule or?" he trailed off.

"Yea I have it right here. Did you want to see it?" I asked. He nodded and I handed it to him.

"Well Dylan it looks like we have all of the same classes except I have cooking and you have art." he explained then handed me back my schedule.

"Cool so does that mean I'm stuck with you all day?" I questioned.

"Listen ms sassy pants you are in fact stuck with me all day then we part ways so I can go cook some food." he chuckled.

"OK well I guess I'm hanging out with you all day considering I have no clue where these classes are still." I stated.

We hung out the whole day, well until I had to go to art. It was weird because I had a set friend in all of my classes then I walked into art to see people I had no clue existed. Me and Luke exchanged phone numbers so we could text each other when we got home. I was thankful that I had found a friend and possibly two when this Jayden girl gets back. After art I went to my locker and packed up all of my things. I speed walked all the way to my bus because I couldn't wait to leave this place.

Maybe this move wasn't so bad after all.

OK so this is a pretty short chapter but I had writers block and I didn't know what to write so sorry.

Anyways if you guys have like any theme song type things for this fan fiction then comment them and I will check them out.

Do you think Jayden and Dylan are going to get along or Jayden will get jealous of like Dylan? I honestly have no clue and I just realized I say honestly a lot.
