Face off.

"I can't come with you to US." She said finally taking over her fears. She saw his questioning eyes. She can't meet his eyes.

"Why?" He asked.

"You know here I have certain project which need to look into. After you leave somebody has to be there to look into it. Also I don't want to travel now. Not feeling to do." She said not meeting his dazzling eyes.

"Okay....so you have created such nice and long excuse." He said looking at her deeply. She was surprised with his response.

"What do you mean? Its not an excuse, if you don't believe me....."

She stammered while talking to him. She knew it's difficult for her to lie to him. She has no idea that he knew her in and out.

" So....tell me the exact problem."

"Oh now I get it you were lost from that day when I asked you to come with me to US." He said finally knowing her uneasiness.

"I don't know what you are talking about."

"I exactly know what you are trying to do. "

"So.... making it short. I know there are projects which need to handle but they can wait till we come back from US. Its just for a week we'll be there. And as of your not wanting to travel sounds such a lame excuse. Will you tell me the reason now?"

Annika was astonished at him. He knew her in and out. She was now irritated. She can't hide from him and she can't tell. So she did obvious she got angry on him.

" I don't think I am answerable to you regarding my personal issues. And if I am not mistaken it you who does not like to interfere in your employees personal affairs." She said harshly to make her point."

Shivaay was never this disheartened at somebody's words. Which actually were true. He can't move back not at this point when he is right. So snapped back.

"Yes off course who will know my rule better than me. Now if yo u are trying this then let me tell you I am the boss here."

"According to the contract you have signed with our company you are my secretary. So wherever I tell you to come with me you have to come. Keeping your ego your ideology and your personal issues aside...."

He paused he looked at her she was frightened by his manners. He looked dangerous the same stone singh oberoi which she met for the first time entering his office.

He did not give any chance to her to talk back " if you have any personal issues which are unavoidable then you have to give it in written and ask for the leave. That to has to be approved by me. So...after this do I need to tell you further miss Annika?" He said smirking.

Annika knew she can't win this. She just said"no sir".

And came out of the cabin.

The moment she came out there was a shattered sound. The whole office staff got startled at that. Its been a while they have seen his anger. It came like surprise to them.

Annika stood at the foot of the door closing her eyes. She hated this. She sat at her desk controlling her tears.

"I know Sir. I did not ask you before moving......." She was cut short.

The office staff were hearing their loud conversation from their seats. They feared his wrath. This new girl was something different. Its just a week she is here and she solely took blame of whole staff.

It was actually very unprofessional of the staff to conduct a success party inside the office. There was one huge deal which they cracked together. Shivaay was being sceptical when Mishra asked for the success party to the staff.

Shivaay was concerned about the present scenario. Although they got the deal, they need finance for it complete. And he was running short of it.

There are few other staff who took this as opportunity to celebrate. They convinced Annika to give permission. They told her that it will be a short, in lunch time they want the whole staff to join the cake cutting ceremony.

Which she reluctantly agreed. She can't deny them too. She is new and she did not want to be bad co worker for them.

To her surprise it did not go as per her plan. They created such a mess. Now Shivaay became the angry singh oberoi. He finished scolding and warning Mishra, now it was Annika's turn.

"See Ms. Annika , I know you are dragged into this, but you should not the implications of such behavior. I can't fire whole staff, and you are not cooperating, so i am bound by the obligation of the company. I have to suspend you."

He looked tense he did not want to do this but it's his responsibility to set rules and to look everybody abide it.

"I can understand it sir. And I am sorry for it." She rose to move when he called her again. Making her surprise my his tense face.

"Yes Sir ...." She said

"Nothing."

Its been two days she has been suspended. She was suspended for three days. He was having a difficult time coping with her work. He has to look after everything. He is been use to her and he never did these managing his meetings. It was always his one or other Secretaries who use to do it. He was shouting mess from few days.

She sat crying at her desk. She got reminded of her cold war period of his and hers. She is a strong girl. She can any day leave this job. She don't want to do it. She loved this job. After struggling for good life she finally got it. She loved the people, she loved the environment, she loved........no...She liked to be around him.

Finally they board the flight from Mumbai to New York. She is very sceptical about going with him. But she realised just just matter of a week, they will be attending meetings and conferences. She won't get time to roam around. There is almost zero percent chance of meeting her past.

Though she was not willing but she agreed to accompany him.

On Shivaay's part he was not understanding why he is so adamant to take her with him. It didn't even mattered if she did not accompany him. She is his secretary, though she helped in cracking this deal but at the end of the day she is not bound to do it.

He was feeling Happy that he made her come with him. Though without her consent. He booked business class tickets for two of them. While other staff who were also part of the deal were given the economic class seats. Which actually surprised everybody including Annika.

Her expressions gave in to her. " I wanted to discuss things with you that's why."

"I dont like to sit alone in journey."

He said clearing her doubts which actually increased her doubt more.
She is the one who is rude to her . She did not wanted to come with him still he wants her to sit with him enjoying his luxury. But she bruised the thought away.

Hello friends. I know I am late. I don't know why I am not feeling the story and unable to write properly. The feedback and vote are not upto the mark to.

I am running out of idea to......so today I wrote A very short update. I hope those who are genuinely following the story are not angry with me.

The italics are the past of Shivika story. I hope it's not confusing. I don't know when will I get my flow back. Till then bare with me.
