Breaking Dawn

Shivaay stood with two glass of drinks in his hands. He was smiling. He looked all innocent while smiling but he has a mischievous smile. Annika knew this trip will be a gamble for her.

"Don't worry guys I'll give her company." He said to Gauri and Om.

They moved out from that place not before eyeing him.

"You don't have to do this." Annika said as soon they left.

"What?". Shivaay asked eyeing her intently

"I am okay, you don't have to accompany me, you go and enjoy the fun" she said in plain voice.

"As you wish." He said and moved back, surprising her. The moment he left she felt irritated on herself. She cursed herself and called him.

"Shivaay...."

He returned with a wide smirk this time.

"I am sorry I did not mean to..... You can stay." She said avoiding his eyes but still looking at him.

He looked so handsome in those white floral shirt. His manner are already lethal now his charming face is certainly death of her. She feel so proud to share the presence with him. His importance towards her and the concern he shows towards her. It makes her feel butterfly in her stomach.

"Actually I wanted to ask you have you got any confirmation from Mr. Tiwari?" He asked out of blue.

"Huh... No....I mean we are in a holiday....I mean....I have not contacted him." She said confused how to answer that question. Here in this ambiance, this feel , this place and he wants to talk about office?

He smiled. He did not said anything. It was intentionally done. He wanted her reaction. This time he has promised himself that he will make her speak up.

"Why on earth you remembered that Mr. Tiwari? " She asked exasperated

"Because you don't speak anything apart from official works." He said straight away looking into her eyes.

They got hold of eachother. They were staring at eachother. Not wanting to break the trance. Finally Shivaay spoke.

"Seriously Annika it's been 8 months that I came to know you. Still I know nothing about you. Nothing. Not even about your roommates!"

"I want to know . I want know about your friends. Your circle. I want to know about you." He said. Eyes a little hurt. He knew nothing of her.

Annika was taken aback. She dreaded this. And exactly that is happening. This time she wanted to not sound rude. He is right. He has been very supportive. He never asked her about her personal life not even about her daily acquaintance.

"I already told you that I can't......." She was cut in between.

"I am not asking about the things you don't want to share. I just want to know general things. See all this while I was your boss I never interfere in your life. Today I want to be your friend. In true sense. I want you to open up a little bit." He said his eyes brewing so much she could not hold herself.

Her expressions changed. Earlier she looked so stern and rigid now she was helpless. He was not asking anything unethical. He was just curious. And being working with him it's his right to ask all these things. He can demand it. He is genuinely trying to be her friend.
