Anything for you.

The dinner was set in the dim light. Soothing ambiance and a love filled atmosphere. Annika has specially made his favourite food. She is not an excellent cook, like Shivaay but she had put in all her efforts.

She looked at him intently. His eyes were lost. He was smiling but there was some void,he misses his family. She felt his twinges, she knew that look, all these years she hid it same way. They share the vacuum of not having a loving family,this is something they have common. Craved through out for love of their respective family.

She gave a light squeeze to his hands, he looked at her lovingly.

He can see through her,almond shaped eyes were in deep in thoughts. It's not impossible for him to guess what went on her mind.

He placed his other hand above it. Gesturing his companionship. To be with her till eternity. Gestures are so important,a simple touch can tell you limitless words. Today they gesture so many things.

Settling themselves on the bed, they hugged eachother. A placid Annika sat with him, her attempt to make his night special have been fruitful. She rested her head on his chest. They were recollecting that has passed between them.

".....when did you realised that you loved me?" A curious Shivaay spoke.

They were talking about how they avoided eachother,in their initial stage of life. How they use to hide their feelings for eachother.

"Actually.......I don't know, when I fell for you. It's so strange, I felt something for you but never realised that it's love....you know" she smiled at her stupidity,kissed him on his chest to make up for it.

"Yeah so strange right , even I can't recall,exactly when I realized. If I see now, it feels like ages.... I loved you forever." Shivaay told her.

Annika thought a little harder. And again spoke.

"...so what do you remember then...? I mean anything that made you emotionally drained? I want to know." She aksed looking at him. He saw a strange meekness in her manners.

He can guess it's because of the morning incident.

"I never felt emotionally drained with you. You know, I was not expressive about it and never told you .I never felt so complete before you.

When I look at my past, it's so incomplete without you.

The day when you blamed me for everything , I was disappointed, You know what broke me more?

The thought that After this I have lost you forever.

I could not stand, my legs lost the earth beneath, my world went numb. And then......"

He paused he looked towards her. He still dreaded that accident. A sharp shiver runs down his spine.

He kissed her forehead. Not breaking it, ot lingered for long. He took a deep breath as if his life came back to him.

" It almost took my life, you know I never feared anything in life, i use to feel proud of that. I hated separation thought.

That day my fear took over me. The thought of separation itself killed me.

If... anything happened to you......I...I ...don't know...how would I....." He could not complete his sentence.

He took her in his embrace. Not letting her go. Annika patted his back soothing him, she made her presence felt to him.
