She was only young when her island was raided by the likes of both marines & pirates, her family slaughtered like they were animals while her & others her age were kidnapped & sold to the likes of Celestial Dragons or pirates just kept them to be us...
"AAHHH!!" I sweat drop when I heard the two scream at the top of their lungs as a giant sea monster was behind us, maybe if I wasn't a devil fruit user I could beat the absolute shit out of this fucker. Instead I have to run away, being a devil fruit user is awesome but I just hate that sea water is my new found weakness… I used to love being in the water
I turn my head around & take a deep breath before glaring at it, sweat trailed down my forehead when I felt a shockwave release from me & stop the monster in its tracks. It stared at me as it quivered in fear, a small smirk graced my lips when I knew it worked
Conquerors Haki, as I stated before, only 1 in several million (got it wrong the first time, my bad) people can have this ability, & I'm lucky enough to be that 1 as well as a few others. I was able to learn how to properly use it from a very reliable teacher, still need a bit more time to really get the hang of it properly but at least I know how to use it a bit
"Overgrown wuss…" I mutter as it swam away in fear from us, I look forward before continuing to drive down into the abyss of darkness
"Whoa! What'd you do, Shin-chan?!" Luffy exclaimed as he stared up at me "You did the same thing Shanks did to our local sea monster back at Dawn Island." I chuckle sheepishly as I scratch my cheek
"Haki, Conquerors Haki. This type of Haki allows the user to exert their willpower over others. It is said that whoever possesses this type of Haki has the qualities of a king." they look at me confused "Ah, strong willed people can release their will & knock people out who have a weak will." I groan when they nod, understanding what I meant
'Why do I even try…?'
"So if I learn it, does it mean I have a higher chance of being the Pirate King?!" I laugh as I ruffle his head
"This type of haki can't just simply be taught, I'm just gonna say I'm one of the lucky few who has it."
"Aw!" Ace starts to laugh though I narrow my eyes at him
'But… Ace, I believe it was him that used it 2 years ago, his father had the ability to use Conquerors Haki… maybe he has acquired it as well.'
"Shinji, why's it so hot all of a sudden?" Ace asked as he started to fan himself "Is it you unknowingly using your devil fruit?" I look around before shaking my head
"Its the underwater volcano's over there, if those are there we must be close." I state as I look down at the Log Pose "All we need to find is the cavern that leads down to where the Island is located."
"How far down is the island?" I hum as I try to recall how deep down it is "If I remember correctly, its 10,000 meters below sea level. There's also a 30% that ships don't survive the whole trip to the island since a ship could easily get crushed."
"Whoa! That's deep!" I nod my head
"We should be lucky that we haven't run into anymore--" I was cut off when there was a loud roar, the three of us look back & I let out a breath "-- sea monsters."
"Giant octopus!!" they both scream
