I sit in my huddled position on my bed the words playing over and over.' Just a scratch and they will be dead', I have already prepared the scalpel, so why am I worried about that. ' Down the corridor of Alfas wing and to the left, the one with the blood red door', my directions Curly has given me, I know they are correct so why am I soooooo worried. I am trembling from head to toe, waiting for Jacob to return, to return from checking when Alfa leaves, we don't want him to see me.

I search my pockets, the scalpel and the little packet are firmly inside my pocket, I decided to keep extra of the poisen so I could pour it in her water, if she has any, it stops the task from being as deadly as it is.

I hear a pitter patter of footsteps coming down the corridoor through my open cell door. It is midnight, and every noise can be heard so these footsteps irritate me hugly.

Jacob pops his head around the corner"All clear, Alfa is not in his room and Bitchon has just left to do something, she left a note for Alfa saying she would be back in half an hour, your through" he whispers pulling me off my bed.

He climbs into his bed and turns off the lights.

"Hurry up I am getting tired" he moans as he falls into a silent snore.

I creek open the door and peer outside. All clear just as Jacob had said. I tip toe down the the silent dark coridoor, pausing before every corner.

My feet automatically lead me to Alfa's wing, I have been there often enough. I continue on and turn to the left. Sure enough a single blood red door stands in the darkness. My eyes zoom in everything else disappears but the door. I crawl up to it, I have no idea why I fell like crawling just that it seems more quiet.

I slowly twist the little golden handle and the mechanism in the lock on the back clicks open with a little POP. I creak the door open, shuffling in at the same time. The room is dark and spooky, a shiver runs down my spine. The curtains dance in the night breeze. The cover on the bed carefully made, she was planning to be gone for a while.

My eye's cast around the room for a hiding spot. There is a cupboard. No, she might need clothes tonight, better not hide there. There is a table. Not much use. A couch. Can't fit under it. And a bed. Glowing with the moon light fro the window. I crawl over to the bed and inspect the bedside table, a clear glass of water sitting  on it.

I rip open the poisen packet and pour in the remaining mixture. It is blood red, and the water imediately turns red as well but then camoflages in with the pristine blue. Good at least if I can't scratch her she can die of water poisening. I hear some clicks outside the room. I wiggle in under the bed as quietly as I can. I lay there in silence. Who was this she wasn't due to be back yet, but by the hesitance in the room I can tell it is someone else.

Suddenly, something grabs me by my hips and yanks me out of my hiding spot. Shit, I am dead now. I struggle and hold the bed frame grunting in exhaustion. Then finally the male, guessing by the low murmurs he was making prises me off. He stands me up and faces me. I scrunch up my eyes to see who it is.

Alfa.

Why the hell is he in here. I struggle from his grip, arms flailing, daring not to scream, I don't want the guards to come.

"Oh it's you" he chirps in a whisper.

Happy, why is he happy.

"Abagail, what are you doing in Bitchon's room" He whispers his grip tightening on my arms, clawing into my skin.

"I........um........ don't know...................Don't worry I am leaving now." I mumble. Crap what is my excuse.

"I came to sleep with Bitchon Tonight and I come in and see you here."
