"Mummie. Mum. Mum. Mum. Mum." The little mech kept trying to get your attention tugging at the straps draped around your hips

You placed a digit over your derma at him trying to quiet him down as you finished up on the comm with your boss.

"Um- Oh yeah I can get that in by within the next few cycles. No, that was Starchaser's duty-" You replied best you could as Asher made more desperate attempts to get your attention.

"::And I will ask you once again, dinner with me?::" This caused you to rub your optics

"Like I said before sir, I don't do relationships with those who I work with. Too difficult to keep it professional." You muttered leaning on the counter

"::If you say so darling, now I have to go handle something.::" With that the comm cut off and you let your helm fall against the counter

"Rubbish..." You vented

"What rubbish? I taught you already took it out." You glanced down at the little mech who decided to stand between your stabilizers

"Thought buddy. And I have taken it out already." You smiled at him

"Den whats rubbish?" He tilted hi helm cutely

"... Nothing you need to worry about." You vented and picked him up and sat him up on the counter, "Now, what did you need?"

"Ummm...." He glanced up thinking, "I don't remember."

You rolled your optics with a soft smile and have his helm a soft kiss, "I love you buddy."

"Wanna watch a movie with me?" He asked excitedly

"The one we always watch?" He gave you a blank, yet cute look, "Of course darling. Go put it in    while I get some sweets."

You set him down on the floor as he grinned and giggled cutely running to the living room. You smiled faintly at him and leaned back on the counter with a stressed sigh. It was a struggle to work with a  bot who wanted to get in your plates so bad he would send flowers everyday. You just wanted to work and get home with your son.

Your plates trembled a little at the thoughts that played over and over in your helm.

'If only you hadn't-'  You cut that thought off before it could finish.

Did you regret having Asher? Pits no.

Do you regret the timing? Kinda.

You had just gotten the highly valuable skills for your original career choice that would have been a great success and given your life the excitement it doesn't have now. You never wanted to be a simple creator, but fate said otherwise.

You loved your little mech to death, don't get it wrong, it was just your spark longed for something more beyond the limitations that have been set for you by your situation. Something you had only just gotten a taste of before he happened.

That stupid putrid dinobot. He changed your life in ways he couldn't comprehend.

Your digits tightened against the counter at the thought of him. You started to tremble in the hot wave of emotions that swept over you. Tears start to streak down your cheeks.

"Mum?"

You froze hearing your son.

"Mummie why are you crying'?" He asked as he walked over his little optics ridges scrunched in concern

"I just.... Hit my pede on the table buddy." You vented wiping your face, "Don't worry too much about it okay. "

You crouched down and opens your arms, "Hug to make mummy feel better?"

He gladly ran over and tossed his arms around your neck in a cute little bear hug. You smiled faintly and nuzzled him softly holding him close.

He was the best thing that came out of this situation.
