¨Train a batch of newbies.¨

¨What?¨

~

¨Why would I ever-¨ You started but were quickly cut off

¨Because you want too, I know you well my dear, you're one for action, simple cubical work would never suit you, you have too much life for such a lifeless job.¨ He chuckled servos folded behind his back, ¨So much fight is still left within you, you couldn't settle, it would make you feel like a caged animal. I know you sweetheart, your a wild animal.¨

Your derma twitched a little at him, you didn't want to admit yourself that he was correct, you felt trapped within the stable life circumstance made for you.

¨Pits, you were, are, ready to attack me right here and now. Trust me (y/n) you never want to settle down, but,¨ He lifted a photo from the shelf top, ¨But you chose too, for this cute little runt.¨

¨Leave him out of this.¨ You hissed tightening your grip on the gun

¨Of course, but I am only pointing out the reason for your troubles, and the reason you have a life that makes you-¨ He grunted in surprise then a blast ripped by his cheek

¨Leave him out of this.¨ You repeated glaring down the gun, ¨Or I won't miss again.¨

The mech chuckled running a digit against the open wound running the length of his cheekplate, ¨There is the (y/n) I remember, has some power behind her demands, and a willingness to follow through with them. I was worried the carrying protocols made you go soft.¨

You growled at him, ¨And I thought old age would finally put an end to your snark.¨

He laughed loudly, ¨My dear, you should know bots don't change, you included.¨

Cocking the gun again you snarled, ¨Any other stupid philosophy you want to give me? Or do I need to make you silence yourself?¨

¨I suppose, but I strongly advise you take up my offer, it'll put some excitement back in your life. Instead of having it be a family melodrama.¨ He chuckled as he started to smoke as you started firing again at him, ¨You know where to find me.¨

You growled to yourself as all you were left with was several helm height holes in your wall and the fading anger pulsing through your systems. Lowering your weapon slowly you walked into your dining room fully and placed the gun down against the table. You pulled a chair out from the table and plopped yourself heavily down into it.

You placed a hand over your intake trying to keep the sob that wanted to break out back. Tears were already brimming in your optics as you struggled to keep your own pride from crumbling down before you. It was a struggle to disagree with what had been said to you, but you refused to blame any of it on your own sparkling. He had nothing to do with this, nothing at all.

Leaning back in your chair you covered your face with your servos. You didn't even know how he go into your home. But you had some ideas. You heaved a sigh and stood up and decided to handle that first, then try to figure out this whole thing. One step at a time.
