Chapter -11

Richard's POV

I entered the cabin of my friend and he seemed to be lost in his own thoughts. I wonder what he is thinking about. Don't tell me that he is still thinking about the boy from that day of argument. As far as I know Andrew is not the type to go for a person who is already taken. Then what is he doing still thinking about that boy, its not like that boy I know he is cute but not my dude's type. I kept on assuming then felt someone poking my shoulder. "why are you making weird faces? Do you need anything or just dropped by to bother me?"said my friend indicating that he already know what I am gonna ask. "You are thinking about that boy, aren't you? Do you think he is worth it?" I asked. He thought for a while and started to speak, "I don't think he is worth it but when I see him I feel connected. It is a feeling like our fates are mixed up", he said nonchalantly. The next he has a shocked expression on his face .....because I bursted into a laugh that even scared me. Drew knew I am not gonna stop anytime sooner so he continued with his work. I cleared my throat and began to ask,

"Drew! He has a boyfriend. You know that, right? I cant see you heartbroken, besides when have you started taking fate seriously. I didn't expect this boring talk from you bud. You are scaring me. What happened to you?" I lectured.
He didn't talk for five minutes which bored me to hell. He started, "I don't think they are in a relationship. He just lied to me ...that boy whom we met in our office while signing the contract with our ally...Do you remember?" Oh! That's where I saw him, he didn't fall prey to my flirting on that day. Now I not going to leave him alone as he is not in relationship with that cute boy. I thought to myself and blurted, "Maybe!" My bubby frowned looking like he caught me, "What are you upto, Dirty bastard?"With a smirk I left his cabin.

Andrew's POV

After Rich left, I tried to focus on my work but failed to do so. Richard was right, being overdramatic is not in my blood. Not only Rich, I was amazed with my previous dialogue too. I stayed single from a long time only dated a girl in high school and slept with few girls, that's it. I also noticed that I may be bisexual because I was also attracted to some guys but never dated one. More than that I never really cared about my relationship. The thing with that cute boy on that day is a momentary attraction or the symptoms of being single for a long time. It made me dramatic. Cool! I should stop thinking about going to that bakery again. My parents always said that my marriage would bring good to their business empire so I am pretty sure that they will choose a girl from a wealthy family. As a guy who doesn't like to complicate his life should just focus on work instead of thinking about a bakery owner who doesn't fit in my wealthy family.
An hour or so after the decision I received a call from my mother and started heading home. What might be the reason they wanted to meet me. I reached home quickly and found my parents sitting in couch. They are as lively as ever. I know they can be arrogant, selfish and what not when comes to business but they are couple goals. My mom says that my dad fought for her as my grandpa never agreed to marry a daughter of his rival in business. Actually my mom's father lost his business because of my grandpa. That's a whole different story.
"Hi, Mom and Dad", I greeted. "Are you done kissing eachother?" by that my mom was highly embarrassed. She cleared her throat, " My boy!We were waiting for you. Have a seat", she said.
" What is that important thing you guys want to say?" I asked. They started dramatically fidgeting and poking each other to initiate....

Author's POV

Rachel's mother went to pick Raj and Tina from the airport in the afternoon. After having a meal Tina called his son and called him home. Ayaan tried his best to smile while greeting his parents as he still remembered how they sent him away. He knows it made him a better person but still he couldn't forgive them. Raj asked whether his studies are good, the two friends cleverly escaped from those questions. Tina was still unsure why they are in New York but she still believed her husband would explain to her later. Suddenly she realized, "could it be that thing? No No... this might be just another business meeting. My son is still young" she thought. She is not the nosy type' thus she didn't ask her husband directly.
They all sat and had nice chat about various things like their business and about Rachel's family and so on. In the evening Raj made an announcement to his wife and son which almost all made Tina faint and Ayaan shocked. Raj announced, " Ayaan!We are going to meet your in laws in the evening. Wear something decent."
