Chapter-19

AUTHOR’S POV
   
The news of the attack was on social media for few weeks after the incident. After that everyone started to forget about it. Amapola and his companion, who was later found out to be her cousin by the police were arrested as they tried to escape and bled an officer to death in the process. Ayaan’s parents left to India after they were assured the safety of their son by Parkers. They know that along with their son they should also get habituated to these sudden surprises, after all they are giving off their son to a billionaire family for a marriage. The more wealth you have, the more enemies you gain in the process. They even don’t know much about Parkers. It’s not like they are left with any choice now.
    After the shocking revelation of him being a scapegoat of Parkers family, Ayaan started to drive away Andrew but still nonetheless visited Mr. and Mrs. Parker as per his parents request. Andrew visits the boy everyday only to get cold treatment in return but not to mention the fact that Mr. Billionaire is too stubborn to leave his fiancé alone. He set up secret bodyguards after Ayaan. The boy is too innocent to sense that anyway.

AYAAN’S POV

The day when I was attacked by his crazy ex he seemed very bothered. I can understand he had to put up with the act as his and mine parents were around. Even media without any official announcement predicted that we were lovers by his act. Wow!! He should get an Oscar for that. What actually amazed me is why he didn’t drop the act after that. I gave treated him coldly possible for three months already.
   
     Today is Sunday and we close bakery early by the evening. Rachel’s comes over to my place and we will have fun watching movies, gossiping about someone.

“How are things going on between you two?” Rachel asked out of nowhere.
“Between who two?” I asked as if I don’t know. I seriously don’t want to talk about it right now. Rachel gave a look which read as “Are you kidding?”
“Rachel please!!” I whined. 
“Look darling, I know it’s hard but you can’t run away from him. In a year you will be a family. Patch up things with him. “Looking at him pursuing you tells he cares about you.”  I was in deep thought but didn’t fail to hear the door bell.
“SPEAKING OF THE DEVIL” Rachel  said as she saw who was on the other side of the door through peep hole.
She opened the door and greeted Andrew happily. Did I mention that they are good friends now? Idiot tried to take my only friend away. I was busy with scolding him in my head but soon felt a smooch on my lips. Soon to my surprise I saw my friend leaving wishing good luck to me and gave an enjoy smirk to Andrew. Now I am struck with him for the night. GREAT!!!

ANDREW’S POV

“He closes soon today and I will get to be with him for more time”, I exclaimed happily. Rich sat beside me smiling. He bore my blabber few months now and he can put up with that for some more time I guess.
“Man, do you know how love sick you became for these past month?” he asked. I just shrugged and raced my car to my home dropping my friend at his house. I showered, dressed up in blue t-shirt and shaded jeans, and wore cologne in just 15 minutes and rushed to my car saying to my butler that I won’t be at home for dinner. He obediently received my word and went inside. I drove my car to the most beautiful fiancé of mine. He hates me for calling him beautiful but I can’t help calling that. I do adore my wife, soon to be of course. He would even kill at the word called wife LMAO.
I reahed his apartment and rang the bell. Rachel was already in there and left as soon as I came. She is the best friend we both had here. She understood that I came to spend time with my boy. I greeted him by giving him a smooch. He looked shocked and turned red. I laughed at that. His reaction is to live for.
“Hello!! Sweet heart, How you doing?” I asked with a smirk on my handsome face. He was tensing up by my side. I didn’t want to scare him so I changed the topic. I adjusted myself beside him and turned my face towards him. Ayaan immediately turned off the movie but I already saw what they were watching till now. I tried to hold my laughter and heard Ayaan irritatingly saying, “Don’t you dare laugh!!”
I contained my laughter and said “You both were watching Moana? You are so cute that I can’t handle.” I saw his face flushed deep red with embarrassment. I loved it.
“Let’s watch something else”, he insisted. He might have got already that he can’t escape from me. “Okay”, I said.
We watched in an awkward silence. Soon I felt his head dropped on my shoulder. He fell asleep I guess. I admit that I am not as entertaining as Rachel. I didn’t know how to react. I carefully read his face. He has angelic features but will I ever make him happy. Will he forgive me in this life time? These mere thoughts terrified me.
I continued watching the movie and felt his stare on me why his head is still on my shoulder. “Did I wake you up?” I asked. He nodded and again there is a silence.
We continued watching but I heard his whisper saying, “what is the meaning of continuing this act?” I know he is scared of asking directly hence he whispered.
“Is that message you got from my actions? "Ayaan, I love you. The thought of losing you scares me. I almost lost you on that day and same mistake will never be repeated. I am not after our fortune that I cleared it many times to you. I am after you baby. I want a family with you. We are going to marry soon and you make me happy. That’s all I want and you should too.”I concluded. He seemed very confused whether to believe my words or not. I kept my eyes in contact to his so that he can read how genuine my words were. I may mess up sometimes but not this time.

AYAAN’S POV

I was so confused and stared into  his eyes. I don’t know why I felt that he was being genuine. No!! don’t think that I am saying this just because that few sentences I have heard just now but I have been observing his actions while driving him away. Though I am still unsure, I thought of giving him a chance. He will be my husband anyway. It won’t be a problem loving him, right?As I was busy with my thinking he started leaning towards me. Soon his lips were on me. I was taken aback but soon I kissed him back. Oh my goodness!!was all I could think in my mind.

I kissed him with my own consent.
