Chapter 11

Onodera's POV

I pulled Takano into a warm hug as we sat on the vast land of ice.

"Are you ok? You seem more clingy today..." Takano smiled.

"I'm fine!" I smiled back. I couldn't believe I'd actually fallen in love with this man.

I clung onto his arm, nuzzling my face into his warm shoulder.

He took one arm and put it around my waist, pulling me in.

Standing up, I took his hand.

"Onodera?" Takano questioned. Pulling him up, I interlocked our fingers and walked along the glacier until I approached a small running creek of water. Letting go of his hand, I removed both of our gloves on our once interlocked hands. I took his hand again and interlocked our hands. Slowly, I dipped our hands into the flowing creek of icy water. With my other hand I picked up some of the icy crystal beads and placed them between our two interlocking hands.

"Umm... What was that?" Takano looked puzzled.

"It's a family tradition. Once we find our true love we take our partners hand in our and dip it into a freezing cold river, creek or stream and place small stones between our hands. Or in our case, ice crystals. It shows that through thick and thin we will stay together." And with that I removed our hands from the creek and we walked back to the cabin.

Takano took some time to absorb all of that. Upon our arrival at the cabin he pulled me in for a tight hug. I released our hands and the ice crystals fell to the ground and into the snow. I wrapped both arms around him and we fell into the bed. Takano lifted up my shirt and kissed my belly.

"Takano san..." I groaned out.
