Chapter 14

Takano's POV

Eventually, Onodera fell asleep in my arms. His head was leaning against my chest. I smiled down at him. I brushed his hair away from his face and kissed his forehead. I stood up, picking him up in my arms, in a bridal manner.
I quietly walked back to the cabin and set my Princess down in bed.
I turned on the heating and took off my shirt. Tonight was slightly warmer than usual. I hugged him by the waist, burying my face into his shoulder blades and soon fell asleep.
Onodera woke up first, waking me up in the process. He turned to face me and I kissed him.
"Good morning, Princess..." Onodera blushed red.
"Good morning..." He cuddled up to me and nuzzled his face into my chest. I kissed the top of his head and rubbed his back soothingly.
He sat up but I wrapped my arm around his waist, pulling him back down. I pulled him towards me and nuzzled my face into the nook of his neck.
I felt a soft kiss on the top of my head and I looked up to find Onodera smiling down at me.
"What are you smiling at?" I asked, curiously.
"No - nothing." He smiled at me again and I looked up suspiciously.
I sighed and sat up. I brushed Onodera's hair away from his forehead and planted a kiss on it. Onodera also sat up, blushing red.
Hugging him, I stood up.
"I'm gonna take a shower." I turned and smiled at him and he nodded.
A while later I walked out with a pair of black jeans, topless with a towel around my neck.
Onodera blushed and smiled at me.
"I'll take a shower now." He said as I nodded.
"Mkay."
A few minutes later he came back out in the same black jeans that I had, and a white shirt.
I had finished getting dressed as well as dried my hair.
I pulled the hairdryer over to Onodera and blow dried his hair the best I could.
"Shall we go now?" He smiled and nodded.
Grabbing a hat I pulled it over his head.
"You just had a shower so I don't want you to get cold." I smiled and kissed his forehead. I then took his hand in mine and intertwined our fingers.
"Takano-san..." He went red.
"Yes?"
"I-I love you..." I let out a sigh and smiled.
"And I love you too..." I leaned in and kissed his soft lips. I pulled away and Onodera covered his face with his hands.
"Haha... Are you embarrassed or just shy?" I asked.
"Both..." Onodera pouted and he slowly uncovered his red face from behind his hands. I let out a light laugh and hugged him tightly.
"Shall we go out now?" I asked, smiling. He nodded in response. I took his hand and tangled our fingers tightly. I opened the door and the cold winter breeze hit us in the face.
"Are you warm enough, Princess?" I asked as we headed out.
"Yeah." He nodded, smiling up at me. We walked over to the lunch hall and ordered the usual. Onodera stared out of the window, daydreaming.
Slowly I leaned over the table and kissed his soft cheek. His face turned towards me, flushing red.
"T-Takano san..."He said quietly, covering his face with his hands.
"Please don't do that in public..." He whispered. I let out a small laugh.
"Sorry, Princess." I smiled at him.
After we had finished, I stood up and took his hand, locking our fingers. We made our way to the vast sheets of ice, simply walking along as we admired the morning creeks in the ice. Beads of ice lay onto of larger sheets, flowing slowly down a small stream that sliced the glacier in half. We took a quick walk around before returning to the cabins.
"We should start packing our stuff now. " I said, slowly letting go of his hand as we entered the cabin. He smiled, nodding and he began to fold everything neatly so it fit into the suitcase.
