Abigail Collins looked around for her curly haired friend, he was nowhere to be seen. She has started to lose her patience, if he didn't show up soon they would be late. She had almost started loosing hope when someone rushed towards her.
"I am so sorry" Finn said as be stopped right in front of her. "Hi" he continued and greeted her with a hug."What took you so long?" She asked as they started walking towards the subway. They had decided to meet at the same place as last time since that was kind of on the way.
"I got recognized by like a group of five girls, and they all wanted a photo" he said. Abby chuckled.
"How is it? You know, being recognized all the time?" She asked him.
"I don't really mind most of the time, but you know times like this is just annoying" He replied. "Like people seem to think that I'm this special person who doesn't have my own life and they seem to think that they can just demand stuff from me"
Abby nodded, she couldn't relate the slightest but still wanted him to feel happy. There was something she wanted to tell him, and she figured now would be an okay time.
"Did I ever tell you how I found out about Isla's sickness? She asked. Finn shooked his head.
"So last year, in like May or something, I was in class when my mom called me" she started, thinking back on the day. "Isla had some trouble breathing and they needed to check it at the hospital, so James would have to make dinner" she took a short break before starting to speak again. "It was cancer"
"I'm sorry" he said. "I know I don't understand how you feel but I'm here if you need to talk" he replied.
Abigail shook her head. "Won't be needed, I'm fine" she smiled.
"Really?" He asked.
"Yes, really"

They walked up to the reception.
"Hi, we are here to visit Isla Collins" Abigail said to the lady in the reception."Which department?" The lady asked, kindly.
"National health"
"Okay, whats you names?" She said without looking up from her computer.
"Finn and Abigail" Abby said. The lady wrote something on two pieces of paper and gave them each a visitors pass.
"Do you know the way?" She asked Abigail.
"Yeah, W-we've been there before" she replied.
They both got in to the elevator, and Abigail pressed the 5 button.
"I'm getting a dejavú feeling now" Finn said, trying to make a joke. But Abigail didn't smile. Her stomach started feeling sick and she didn't like it. She never enjoyed coming here, it made her think about death, and that's the last things she wanted to think about.
As they stepped inside the small room, Isla was asleep. They sat down at the table and talked to each other with a low voice.
"Do you often come here?" Finn asked.
"Not really, usually my mom is here"
"Where is she now?"
"I think she is at home with dad, but I don't really know"
They sat quiet for a little bit before Finn stood up. "I'm gonna get some water, do you want some?" He asked.
She nodded slightly.
Finn walked out the door and looked for a sink or something. He started to think. How did he even end up here? Abigail was just some girl he met through work because of her sisters state, why the hell would he come with her here? She was just a girl, yet somehow he really wanted to be close to her.
He remembered when they were in the park a couple of weeks ago, and smiled. She had looked so beautiful in the moonlight. Her eyes had been glittering and she were tired but still smiled wider than the pacific ocean.
Deep down in his stomach he felt butterflies thinking about that smile. He didn't quite understand why, but he really like the feeling.
When he returned, he found Abigail crying, but she immediately wiped her tears away when he stepped in.
"Are you okay?" He asked, knowing damn well the answer was no. But she just nodded.
"Yepp" she said and tried to sound happy. "I- It's just allergies"
Finn looked at her for a second. "We are inside" He chuckled. Abby smiled.
"Abie?" A low voice whispered. They both looked at the bed were Isla had woken up.
"Good morning" Abigail said and walked towards the hospital bed.
"What time is it?" She asked, looking for the phone. Abigail checked her own.
"It's 12:38" she said.
Finn realized that he was just standing there like a dummy. "Eh, do you want some water?" He asked and placed one of the glasses on the bedside table next to her, he gave the other one to Abigail.
Isla's eyes shut wide open. "Oh my god" she whispered. "You're here"
"Yeah I uhm-" Finn scratched his neck.
Isla put her hands together and closed her eyes.
"Dear lord and savior, if this is it, if I am dead and this is heaven I am happy to stay forever, in gods name amen" she whispered.Abigail and Finn looked at each other, Finn smiled but Abigail were concerned.
"Isla you're not dead" Abigail said calmly. Isla opened her eyes slowly.
"So you are really here?"
Finn walked closer to the bed, standing next to Abigail. "Yeah, uh Abigail asked me to come" he said and looked at Abigail. Even when she were sad she was the most beautiful person he has ever seen, not that he would tell her that of course.
They continued talking to Isla for about 20 minutes before they decided to leave.
"We have to go now Issie, but I love you so much" Abigail said and gave Isla a hug. Finn gave her one to.As they stood outside the metro and said goodbye to each other and made a quick decision. He pulled the girl in front of him in to a quick hug.
"Bye Abby" he then said.
