Isla lied in the hospital bed with a coloring book and some pencils. Her earphones were plugged in and "Girls like you" were playing. She was very tired. Her mom were out to get some coffee and her siblings were at school. She grabbed a green pencil and began coloring the grass.

It was a nice day outside, it was turning in to autumn. The leaves were changing colors. It was Isla's favorite time of the year. She just wished she could go outside to witness it.

Suddenly she felt her body getting lighter. She could barley feel it at all. The pen dropped to the floor with a vague sound. It was like she was sinking in to the sheets. She tried to lift her arm but she couldn't move it. Isla stared panicking. What was happening?

"Mom!" She screamed, she wasn't sure if anyone could hear her. The door remained closed and she couldn't hear the sound of footsteps.

The machines around suddenly started to beep. It was a long single tone. She could hear people running and suddenly the room was filled with doctors.

"What's going on?" She asked. She was breathing heavily and fast. She saw the doctors mouth's moving but she couldn't hear them.

Someone threw the coloring book on the floor and another one held her down agains the mattress.

Her vision got foggier and foggier til the point of which she could barley see. She took a deep, refreshing breath and closed her eyes. It was alright now.
