Chapter 6: Truth

*Antwan's POV*

I was so scared when his dad approached us. I didn't know what would happened or what he would do, but he was so welcoming , and nice. "Hi son my name is Montiro Fernandez .. nice to meet you!"

I did not expect any of this from his dad. Like I'm extremely shocked at his dad but not in a bad way. "Hi Sir , Im Antwan Hill , But you can call
Me Aj." We shook hands and he pulled me in for a hug. "Thank you son for making my son happy."

He said looking at me with teary eyes. "yes sir you don't have to worry about anything, I really
Love your son and I'll fight for him." We all walked
Out of the mall to separate cars. His dad and his dads husband pulled up beside us and I told him we were going to get the rest of Terrence's things .

He nodded and said he was gone follow us.

* 25 mins later we arrive to the house *

"Antwan I don't want to go in here please don't make me ." Terrence said crying . "Baby look .. you got to face this problem sooner or later." I'm going to be right here for you baby I promise." He smiled and wiped his face. "I love you." He leaned in and kissed me.

We got out the truck and his dad was behind us getting out . His dad walked up and stood on the side of the door so his mom couldn't see him. She opened the door after we knocked and said " what do you want !." Terrence looked at her with a bawled up fist . " look I just came to get the rest of my shit."

She was about to hit him & his dad grabbed her arm & and exclaimed "if you touch my son again I will beat the shit out of you ." She looked up with a surprised look on her face "Monti?... what are you doing here?"

He smirked "I'm here helping my son get his stuff him and his friend are moving in with me a Leonardo .. now move .." She immediately got out of the way with tears running down her face . She looked Terrence dead in his eyes and replied " I swear I hate you .. you were suppose to be my king not his ." Terrence replied " I still cannn ma I can .. you just gotta be happy for me ."

Shelby replied "I could never love my son with him liking other men." He cried and continued gathering his things. I don't know how to make him feel at this point . I really don't understand why she can't accept him but then I looked at his dad and I remember why.

But you can't keep someone whose not in love with you around. He knew what he wanted and he went and got it. He finished gathering his stuff. "Terrence just leave this guy alone please come back to mommy." She bawled "mom just accept him and me and this can end." She frowned and yelled "No!" He walked out looked back at her and replied "fine!"

She cried as we walked away and got in the car. She then yelled "I'll die without you.. please." We drove off.

*Shelby's POV*

I can't live with out him. That's my only baby and he left me .  I don't know what to do at this point . I can't do this anymore. I pull out all his baby  pictures . I constantly cry while drinking a bottle of Chardonnay. I turn on my music and I just constantly cry and cry.

I just want my baby back but I can't accept him that way. I go to the kitchen and sit on the floor sobbing . I just really it didn't have to be this way. I grab a pen and paper and I began writing. The letter reads.

" Terrence , Mommy love you so much but it's so hard to accept what put me in this state of mind, your father is the reason I'm so adamant about this . I can't deal with this baby mommy loves you forever and always please forgive me for this but I can't do this I really do wish you and Antwan the best but I can't witness this baby I just can't ....

That was the last thing I wrote then I began cutting my throat with the knife I retrieved from the drawer. I love you so much Terrence I do but I couldn't do it baby. I'm sorry love I am
