An old Sully walked back to his former workplace. He walked down the familiar halls and reminisced in his memories. Both good and bad. He liked being the top scarer, but even more than that, Sully's favorite memory was with Boo when he accidentally brought her into the workplace and then saved her from his boss and the retched monster that was Randall. Also involving Boo, his worst memory was when he scared her. Sully could still visualize her terrified expression and fear filled scream. With a sigh, Sully pushed aside this horrid thought and pushed the button to bring down a door. One last time, he thought. His last chance to make a kid laugh.

When the door settled into the slot in front of him, Sully was shocked to see that it was Boo's door. He pushed the door open cautiously. "Boo?" The friendly blue monster with purple spots called into the small room. But who he saw wasn't Boo, and the kid was terrified. She had big brown eye with blonde hair and freckles. Sully tentatively reached forward, trying to show the girl that he was harmless. But as he did so, he made the rookie mistake of slipping on a toy car in the middle of the floor. Sully fell down in a dramatic movement, unable to move as he watched the small girl run out of her room in fear. She didn't scream, she only ran with the same expression Boo wore when Sully scared her all those years ago.

A minute or so later, Sully heard two pairs of footsteps come echoing down the hall. When they reached the doorway the girl walked in trailing who one could only assume to be her mom behind her, holding tight to the mom's hand. "Kitty?" The mom asked in a small, hopeful voice.

"Boo," he whispered. Boo let go of her daughter's hand and bent down to help Sully get to his feet. As soon as he was up, she enveloped him in a vice like hug and buried her head into his blue and purple, now graying, fur. When she pulled away Sully looked down at the little girl he used to know. Her hair was still in the same style, except she wore it in one pony tail instead of two now, and her eyes were still just as big and brown, perfectly matching her daughter's eyes. With a sniffle Boo turned to the little girl beside her and said, "Kate, this is my best friend that I was telling you about. The one who saved me." Kate looked up at Sully with a newfound light in her eyes and she too stepped up and hugged him. With a smile, Sully set her down, then gave each of them one more hug before he announced it was time for him to take his leave and walked back into the monster world.

Once the door had shut, Sully watched it go up into the thousand's of doors lining the factory before he went back home and settled down into his bed across from Mike's and stared at the picture Boo had drawn in his living room at least a decade ago before he drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

(A/N: So this is just a little one shot of Sully and Boo reuniting when Sully's a little older. I don't own anything, Disney Pixar films. No copyright intended. I hope you all liked that! Until next time,
