A Star From Afar || MYG [Discontinued]

Year-End Event

Today's the day. It's a year-end event organized by the school. Here cultural programs happen and students also get their final exam's result. The best scorers get crests.
Though like other events, this event's venue had to be decorated and organized also. So, Hyomi and her best friend, Jinhye participated in the decorating works. That's the reason why Hyomi was called by the teachers to school last week. Where she saw Yoongi, playing the piano in the music room.
As they are also students, they came to the school on time for the event in the morning. Hyomi and Jinhye was talking about random things.

Hyomi's POV:
"Yeah! That was hilarious. Anyways, did you see Yoongi 'til now??" I asked Jinhye, searching for him already.

"How will I? We are sitting together at the same place. I also didn't see him." Jinhye replied.

"Yeah right tho..." I exclaimed sadly.

"Song Hyomi and Kim Jinhye!! Come here and stand on your positions for the rankings!" Our Head teacher called our names and we went to her.

"Yes ma'am!" We replied.

~Time Skip~

Finally the event is finished! It's time for wrap up. People are walking and talking here and there. I saw Yoongi several times but he was a bit too busy to notice me. As always...
Oh and the rankings??? I became 2nd, Jinhye became 1st and one of our friends, Kaemin bacame 3rd.
I am happy what I've got.
"Hey Hyo, come over! We are taking pictures. Join us!" Jinhye called out.
"K coming! Wait." I told her.
Just then, Yoongi walked beside me, crossing.
The air between us, the distance.
Will it turn into a friendship someday...?

"Guys I gotta go home. See y'all!" I bid goodbye to my friends and started for home with my parents.
"Congratulations,my dear! Well done!" Mom cheered me up.

"I am proud of you, my child!" Dad added.

"Thank you mom and dad. Without you guys, I couldn't have done it. Thank you for everything." I thanked them wholeheartedly. I am really thankful to them.

(At Home)

"Aish! I didn't even see Yoongi properly today! Damn it!" I kicked my blanket. I was wrapped in a blanket from the afternoon. Idk, I was feeling shy and embarrassed. So abnormal of me.
"Wow although he looked great as always. I wish I could take photo of him to keep..." I was day-dreaming when suddenly...
*RING*
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey idiot! Why did you leave this early! You missed Yoongi. He was here for a loooooooooong time after you went home." Jinhye shouted from the other line.
"What??????? I never knew that he will stay this long! Ahhhhh!!!!!" I literally started crying.
"Whatever. You know what? Our class teacher gave a little hint about something.... wanna know..?" Jinhye became mysterious.
"What? Tell me already!" I replied.

"She told that...." she stopped.

"She told what?" I asked patiently.

"She told that 2 new students might come to our class next year! Ahh can't wait!!!! What you sayy huh??" Jinhye said excitedly.

"What? Really???? That's amazing. Wonder if we would get along!" I replied her, happily.

"Oh okay girl I gotta go. Bye~!" Jinhye said her goodbye.

"Okay bye bye!" I also said.

Really???? New students after a long time! Can't wait. I hope they are great as friends. I am excited. Let's look forward to it!!! But what if they are the bully type? They make people suffer...? Idk let's just wait.
