Requested: So this imagine was requested by @HarleyKarenWhiteGrey , sorry that this has taken a while. I've tried to incorporate as much of your request as I could! I hope you enjoy! If anyone else wants to put in a request you can leave it in the comments or, you can DM me.

Also, I'm writing this lying down with my dog and he is sleeping and he is honestly so adorable its distracting. Also, its kinda late where I am, so if there are any sentences that dont make sense please please point them out, I would appreciate it so much!

I never thought that I would be where I was right now. I always thought that I would live out all of my life in my hometown Rome, however, as soon as I graduated Uni I knew it time for me to leave Rome and at the time, Dortmund felt like the best place for me to go. So, here I am in Dortmund, in the middle of the night sitting on a park bench. This wasn't the first time I was at this park. I've come here every night since I touched down in Dortmund. The peaceful quietness of the whole place made it a good place to think.

As I sit on the bench I often reflect on what I am doing in life, and today was no different. My deep thoughts were replaced with curiosity as I hear dry leaves crunch. I look over towards the source of the sound to see a man walking by himself. I stare at him in interest, wondering what he could be doing in a park at this hour. He must have noticed me staring, as he looks up at me. I quickly avoid his eyes by looking in the opposite direction. As he approaches my bench he doesn't continue his walk, instead, he stops directly in front of me,

"What are you doing sitting alone in a park in the middle of night" he asked me, with obvious judgement in his German voice. I was quick to defend myself,

"I could also ask what you're doing in a park in the middle of the night" I say with a smirk, he defeatedly smiles,

"Damn, you're right," he smiles, "So who are you? What's your deal" I laugh at how upfront he is,

"Um, I'm Kara, I was born in Italy and I just finished university and decided to come live here". I expect him to send me a smile, or show some emotion through his face, instead, his face remains blank.

"Hi Kara," He pauses, "I expect you want to know who I am and what my deal is since I asked you" I nodded, genuinely curious about this mystery man. "Well, My name is Marco Reus, I was born in Germany, Dortmund to be more specific. I still live in Dortmund since I play football here". I was still intrigued by Marco, I question him further.

"So this football thing, do you play in the park. Ohhh is that why you're here right now" Marco laughed, so loud that I could hear his laugh echoing through the park.

"No, not at all. I play in the Bundesliga" He expects me to understand what he is saying, instead my face shows my confusion. "I basically play in the top division in German" Suddenly understanding I make a verbal "ohhhh", making Marco smile, before he quickly changed back to his blank expression. It took a while to break Marco down, but after nights upon nights spent in each other's company, he finally showed me his true self. The smiley, jokey Marco that I've come to like. In more than just a friend way.

My feelings finally caught up to me on about the 5th night we had caught up. He was telling a joke about a penguin and a crossing. As he was delivering his unfunny joke I alternated staring at his lips and his eyes. However, I quickly cut myself out of my entrancement, remembering I had just met this boy. I finally understood my feelings when we went to leave each other for the night. Marco, for the first time, pulled me into a hug. This contact between the two of us made my heart beat incredibly fast as it had for no one else ever before. And it was at this point that I knew I had romantic feelings towards Marco.

This scared me, not only was I falling fast for a person I had just met, but I have also never been in a romantic relationship before. I didn't know what to do, so my best idea was just to try and only think of Marco as a friend. Safe to say this plan did not at all work out well. Especially since the next night Marco confessed his feelings.

It was kind of obvious that something was up with Marco that night. He purposely sat right next to me, not leaving the usual gap he does. This action seemed odd, but I was determined to see him only as a friend, hence why I saw this action as simply friendly. He got less and less subtle as the time ticked over to early morning. He would take any excuse to take hold of my hand. He would tell flirtatious jokes and intently stare me in the eyes as he said them. Every time he flirted with me, I found it harder and harder to only see him as a friend. So finally, when he confessed his feelings that night, I felt a sense of relief, that he liked me back, however, my panic soon returned.

"Marco, I like you too!," He cuts me off by smiling and leaning in towards my lips, I stop him with my finger "But, it's not that simple," I see him physically gulp, "look, I've never been in a relationship before, and if I'm being honest I'm scared. You deserve someone better who will know what they are doing" As shakily finish my sentence I look over towards Marco, who sits there with a small smile. He strokes my hair while he sweetly says,

"Kara, that is completely fine, don't worry. I'll teach you everything you'll need to know" He moves his eyes to my lips again and moves his hand to rest on the back of my neck. "First, things first, I've got to teach you how to kiss". I smiled into the kiss, as I let him lead the way. "This is going to be so fun!" He said smugly.

Oh god, what have i got myself into.
