FRASER
My old man never had anything to keep me happy.
But he was so fucking proud of me. Both of my parents were. They always knew what I wanted. Too finish high school and join a fight club. When I got into too much fight or got expelled cause I almost killed a fucker who tried to force himself on a girl, they still supported me.
I joined the Serpents.
I raised higher on rank. I got these brothers. They never doubted me, not for a second. It's an ironic dilemma that she has everything...at the same time nothing.
Her mother forced her to join tea parties...fucking tea parties, had her remove real friends, hooked her with the same bitches that tormented her for years and made her a murderer. Then there was her old man, that fucker Sebastian Becker had the nerve to come into media and victimized his own daughter. I can still remember the scandal a few years back that shook the whole world.
The famous politician's daughter was arrested for murder in cold blood.
Then her brother who drifted apart. What was his name? Ah, Elliot. That idiot didn't even know where she is, how she is, people are after her. If it was my brother, I would have beat the shit out of that little rascal. What kind of moronic brother was he even?
"You're thinking hard."
A soft voice murmurs. I don't have to hide the distress from her. It shows perfectly, too perfectly in my face for her to not get it.
"Yeah well, your family isn't exactly a bunch of saints. How the fuck did you survive?" I expect a smart ass retort or for her to defend her family. But I don't expect the wince and little frown in her face.
"I thought-fuck, I didn't tell you just because you can feel pity. I told you because I wanted to. Now it's really starting to feel like a mistake-"
"Don't you dare!" I stop her before she can go on about what any of these was a mistake. God, this woman is on crack if she thinks that I pity her. "None of these was a mistake. And that was me showing itsy bitsy concern, not a fucking pity. Get that in your fucking skull or I will fuck you again in front of all the people in this club to make you remember."
That shuts her up.
Getting the jeans up to my waist and fishing the shirt from the floor, it doesn't take me long to look at least normal. She takes my hint and also dresses up just as quickly. But the messed up hair and the marks along her neck still shows who she belongs to.
Fuck, I really like marking her, didn't I?
Just as we head for the stairs she stops me. "Wait!"
Turning back I'm surprised to see her showing me a gun. Mine to be exact. Hell, the tip of it is still covered in dry blood. What the fuck is she doing it with it?
My eyebrow shoots higher in confusion. "Where did you get that?"
She shrugs throwing the gun in my side. Only then I catch the damn thing that she speaks. "You left it in my room that night. I was hoping to give it back to you...but never got the chance."
Bullshit. She had plenty of chances. She just didn't want to. Oddly I don't ask her why. We just nod at each other in a silent agreement and reach the dancing crowds. It doesn't take long to find Prez and Vixen huddle together near the bar.
